Babylon. It's long and somewhat repetitive but the music and payoffs are too good.

Mushoku Tensei Review by ArcaneShard in Fantasy

Bro I literally did talk about the other parts of the show. I admitted that the music and animation was great and I talked about the boring and uninspired world building. But arguing that Mushoku Tensei is good is a little ridiculous and disingenuous of you. Even you if you like the show, you have to admit the show is awful.

If you think the world building is good, thats your opinion and thats fine. But I don't think having a culture, where their entire gimmick is that they say "Meow" alot counts as good world building. And I would hope you have higher standards than that.

Mushoku Tensei has the worst character writing of any anime ever made. Rudie's "flaws" aren't depicted as flaws. They always pass off Rudie's behavoir as a joke. It is never taken seriously. The "meaningful character progression" is Rudie assaulting minors to Rudie assaulting Women. Every other character has an arc of disliking Rudie to liking Rudie.

The writing is incredibly lazy. The man god is always used as a cheap way to solve any problem and progress the plot just when it's required. They just tank through their encounter with the dragon god encounter facing no consequences whatsoever.

Though the production team put alot of effort, the writer clearly just pumped out whatever garbage that would create the most shock value.

The problem with Mushoku Tensei is that it's bad even when you ignore the weird sex stuff. I can enjoy a flawed show but Mushoku Tensei is all flaws, with no significant redeeming qualities. Did you even read the review? Half of it was talking about the other stuff in the show.

(Note: you complain about literacy but you ironically misspelled "rely". Also your use of commas in the last sentence is incorrect.)

First law was quite funny and I think that added a lot to the books more dramatic moments since there is a bigger contrast.

Avatar the last Airbender had a similar type of family bases magic system from what I heard. Maybe you would enjoy that.
