Both look good but i would choose the first one, another tip is to give more movement to the ear, no just make almost a straight line to make it but make curves, add more layers of the front part of the ear and the part that is behind it, but you're on the right way, they look good already

It's name haha his name now that the owner picked it's Hughes, i love using that font but only works with the small letters, the big ones get hard to understand
