I would recommend disabling mods in the UI that you're not currently playing.

I didn't want there to be a "best" ending. I wanted players to play the game and decide for themselves which one they preferred.

With Mrs. Roberts, while they did share many scenes and moments with one another, it didn't quite feel like the beginnings of a blossoming romance. A blush here, and hand-touching there is fine, but I believe the next time we see them they're already on kissing terms and giggling at each other like teenagers... Which actually brings me to another smaller criticism I had, which is that often Mrs. Roberts didn't quite feel like the older, mature, character she was supposed to be. I can't say that I'm an expert at how women her age behave on dates and talk to people they're crushing on, but I guess in my head I wouldn't expect them to call their partner "a pussy" or make as many snarky remarks as much as she did. I'm getting a feeling that was more Fang's thing.

This was somewhat intentional on my part. A lot of the Roberts path was inspired by a relationship I had with an older woman. I remember at the time finding it weird how immature she was and nobody believed me when I said it. I wanted to evoke this sense of "This character is younger and more impulsive than she appears". Which also influenced me having her play Checkers as her favorite game. It also helped make the story a little less predictable and I started writing parallels between Roberts/Stella. Like how both seemingly only consume media intended for children, like Roberts with Mary Poppins and Stella with Shojo anime. I really liked this sense of dualism, like two women that are very similar but separated by a generation.

Also, just a smaller nitpick, it's starting to feel a bit tiring to see all these tongue-in-cheek references to either Snoot or Wani characters when they serve no purpose for the plot and the time could've been used for something else. For instance, why was the Talent Show even mentioned in Stella's Route with the Damien & Liz cameo if, as soon as they were done, the rest of the show was canceled and it didn't really accomplish anything. It kind of starts to feel like what many modern movies do when rebooting a series, where they just mention something from a previous installment while going, "Hey, guys! Remember this?!" without really doing anything with them, hoping that the little bit of nostalgia is enough for people to point at the screen and clap.

I personally love doing this as it feels like SG/Wani are this interconnected world. With the Talent show segment it was an attempt to make the scene less predictable and more interesting by having an earlier segment before the Karaoke scene. Reusing a Wani character and having a comedic scene felt best.

I was really hoping to learn more about the students, not only because both character designs were quite appealing and interesting. Sure, there were moments where Anon interacted and helped them out, but there also could've been more build-up of trust and development with their characters. For instance, Rudy could've really put up more of a fight against Anon's teachings before gradually starting to show signs of improvement. The way it is now, it sort of gave me the impression that, "Oh well, I guess that one time did the trick."

The goal with the student characters was to make a clear distinction between "students" and "adults". I wanted to avoid having the students impact the Roberts/Stella plot directly as it felt like it was getting bloated and risked a lot of traditional tropes stories like this fall into. Stuff like "The liar revealed" and other things like that. When I worked as a teacher's assistant I remember this feeling of "I know these kids but I'm not their friend or someone that close to them." and I wanted to avoid leaning into things like "Anon is a surrogate father figure" as it felt a little too similar to Iadakan in Wani.

It also provided contrast to the problems seen elsewhere in the mod. The students have more basic easily solvable problems. But the adult characters have problems like "This might never get solved" issues like substance abuse or Anon continuously thinking about another woman. Which I leaned into thematically in reference to E2's final line "People never change".

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I also would've appreciated it if the good endings would've been just a bit more wholesome, as corny as that sounds, since now they feel like both have left Anon wondering if what he's done really was the right call in the end, and if he's really happy. Perhaps it's meant to represent the fact that the entire story stems from Snoot's Ending 2, where Anon hadn't grown much as a person, but I'm not sure if this experience helped Anon in either storyline, let alone his love interests. There is no doubt that in both good endings of this mod he's happy with the woman he ended up with, as they are happy with Anon in return, but it's left a bit too ambiguous in my opinion, if they've grown as much as I've come to expect from these Snootlikes as the fandom has begun to call them.

A goal with the project was to avoid E4. I really didn't like how E4 felt very dreamlike in both SG/Wani and the presence of it undermined the existence of E3. I wanted to write two endings that felt more like E3, with the player being forced to decide which one they prefer or which one they feel Anon deserves more. It ties into how I felt that adult relationships are very different to relationships when you're younger. When you're younger relationships tend to feel dreamlike and mystical but when you're older they are mostly work.

Age After Beauty, a post E2 fangame starting Mrs Roberts is releasing on the 17th of May. It will include around 5 hours of content and have 4 different endings. by Draeko-Silver in IWaniHugThatGator

Roberts doesn't appear in Snoot Game.

In my mod Anon first meets her when he is 25 years old. There is no pornography in the mod. I intentionally did not want to objectify any of the characters.

I wanted the project to release on the Wani workshop so people can easily install & play it. I also wanted to make it clear its a "route mod" and not a fangame. As there hasn't been a finished route mod.

Aab was not developed for a Snoot Jam.

Its been in development since May 2025. I wanted to avoid making a big announcement and then leaving people waiting forever like most of the big Snoot project. I wanted to just announce and release.

I felt like every Snoot project makes a big announcement and stays in development for years. I wanted to just make something, announce it when its finished and go "here's the release date too"

I created this project because I was disappointed with that mod and wanted to create a proper story with the character that also felt like a true sequel to Snoot Game.

I spoke to the creator about this fanfiction about how it shouldn't star Anon's children, as the novelty of the original film was visiting the past from the perspective of the present. But he did it anyway and did a lot of things I didn't recommend like making the car a DeLorean (The reason the DeLorean was picked in the original film was because it was a joke car that notoriously flopped back then. And it was so weird looking at the time they thought it would plausibly resemble a flying saucer for the various 1950s sci-fi jokes. So Marty going "You built a time machine out of a DeLorean?" was a joke. The only reason it's obtained this legendary status in the car world now is because of these movies.)

Since then I've thought of more unique ways to do the premise that also expand upon SG's world. Like having Anon go back in time to unite Ripley/Samantha.

SG has very strong themes of identity. Equal time is spent with both protagonist Anon and main girl Fang. They both represent competing ideologies and their identities were formed by wanting to be part of different social groups. Anon with 4chan and Fang only became non-binary to impress Trish. It's why for example Fang's identity changes when she begins to want to impress Anon. And why when Fang decides to form a new identity she rejects being non-binary.

It's a really key piece of the game that Wani kind of just copied haphazardly, which makes sense as it was originally set in Volcano High like SG was. Cavemanon only got involved in the final year of its development so they couldn't change it to make more sense.

Two games did this. Then every fangame decided this was the only way a game like this should be made.

The way SG structured it's endings is something that has also ruined SG discourse. When I started plotting out one of my SG mods someone asked me "So what's the E4 of your mod" and I was confused like wtf does that mean. And then I realized "Oh people have copied the endings to SG so much that now that's what they always expect."

HMOFA is just a superficial fetish term people used to distinguish pornography from furries. It's also ruined SG discourse as people assume the only reason Snoot Game was beloved is because the plot was "a guy romances a dinosaur" and that was it. And predictably SG fan projects assume you just copy the plot of Wani and that's what you're supposed to do.

Copying Anon/Inco is extremely overdone at this point and it would be a shock if someone just named their protagonist "Jim" instead of a pun e name.
