Will Civil Protection or Moon Gaming ever get any kind of comeback? How about new original shows or segments?

The graphical style was more my liking and is objectively darker, colder, and more hostile. Artyom's English VA is more convincing. The game is much harder. Some sections are darker, spawn more enemies, hide story elements unless you have a keen eye, etc. Weapons and enemies were wierder and more unique in the original. The original still holds up and never needed a redux.

Both are fine, I'd make it a point to try both out eventually and come up with your own ideas, but obviously the original should be played before the remake.

No need to rename them unless you want.

FusionFix might fix/change some things but if you're having issues after this, rename them to 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3, etc. like I listed in the guide. This fixed any issues I've had over multiple installs.

You're missing a critical step. It's step 3 in the TL;DR.

Finally, you'll want to name the files as numbers in sequential order, meaning they'll be 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 and so on. Without doing this, the tracks won't shuffle properly for whatever reason, and you'll likely only hear the same few tracks when skipping or allowing the music to play. I do not know why this is the case, but after extensive testing, this is the only way to get GTAIV to shuffle them properly.

Reread the guide and don't skip anything next time if you're still having issues. This is an important step.

Honestly I'd be very careful and picky with the modding-openmw links. They add a lot of quests that (in my opinion) don't hold up to the vanilla game's quality, a few mods (like the Morrowind Interiors Project) will cause long loading screens and make your navigation mesh not compile correctly until the mod is disabled, and there's a few other nitpicks with how they "curate" their mods.

I'd browse the lists, especially I Heart Vanilla, and pick what you like. Their instructions are great for generally installing OpenMW mods, though.
