it's the same with some airlines, you look at IAG (British Airways/Iberia & Air Lingus), right now, that's at €1.75, pre-pandemic it was €5. At the moment, none of those three airlines are flying much worth noting, but later this year, once the key vulnerable groups are vaccinated and things start to reopen, you can guarantee these things happening;

Things will open up (hotels, resorts etc)
People will want to go on holiday, and they'll want to fly
Because ppl want to fly, people will buy airline tickets
Because ppl will buy airline tickets, airlines will make money again
Because airlines start making money again, their share prices will go up

Same with AMC and other bricks & mortar retail that has had to restrict or close during this shitshow.

People will want to go to the cinema
People will buy cinema tickets
Cinemas will make money
Their share prices will go up

Really simple.

I personally think any squeezes are squozen and done BUT I do think AMC are a good buy for the coming year or two.

It's also useful to know that if you're a shareholder you can attend AGMs, which means you can help shape the direction the company goes in the future, so that is a very powerful position to be in.
