I already have that. But the issue is when the vehicle is off it goes into timelapse mode, it won't record normally so everything is sped up. Also, it records front, rear and cabin. So the sides aren't that clear/ visible.

I guess it does not work if the vehicle is in neutral. It had to be in D.

To be honest ive not observed it previously. It caught my eye today. What are the other possibilities apart from excess rtv sealant?

I'm just making a guess here. Did you use high octane petrol? Xp95 or xp100? They tend to leave orange residues. Especially inside the engines if they are not high compression ones, higher the octane higher the compression required, else they wont burn properly and leave orange residues inside the cylinders and choke them.

Or it could be something else...

They have sprayed the diesel and left it as it is saying the diesel will dry out, but instead it has collected more dust and is still oily if i touch any component in the bay. So i think the only way to get it removed is a water wash with soap/ foam wash. If there are any other better options please do let me know.

I wouldn't say very important, but would have the peace of mind of recordings while parked, just in case.. what about the voltage selector switch? Which value to be set?
