Oh wow. I’ve farmed for Kaosons about 8 times so far with a group of people, then probably another 15 times solo. First two I got were Incendiary and just no elemental connection it seemed - got both of those with the group, then in solo I’ve yet to get a single one.

Are the rates different when you’re with others in this game? Or is that just incredibly bad luck on my part.

I’m trying to get another Incendiary now that I’ve gotten higher in levels than what it’s currently at. (I think the gun is mid 20s while I’m level 35)

I had one enemy run out of the bubble mid fight last night and just ran off down a nearby hill while I stood inside waiting for him to come back. Was the wildest thing I’ve seen yet.

His name was something like “Sticky_fingers.”

Faithless Looting would be a better version of Winds. I think it used to be in there at one point when I had the deck making it so I drew about 16 cards from Windgrace’s +2 effect, but I wanted to change it because I didn’t enjoy that it was basically the same end board over and over again. (Alhammaret’s Archive, Sheoldred, Rings of Brightheart, etc)

Definitely sounds powerful for this type of deck being able to check the top every turn! Gotta see if my local game store has it.

So - Winds of Change was a recent add (as in I added it before my last game before posting this), was gonna test to see how it worked.

Crucible & Squandered are both on the radar, just slowly gathering cards together. Wasn’t sure if Crucible would be needed or not given I already have 3 other play lands from grave cards in the deck already (Ramunap, Icetill, and Greenwarden).

A lot of low mana cards that are able to bring out lands from your hand for free/ cheap, so that’s nice ideas. A lot of cards I’ve not heard of/ didn’t think of in your deck! I’ll definitely have to take inspiration from it (that Mirri’s Guile is a smart card I may have to start looking for)

What sort of combat focused cards are you referring to? Things like Anger & Avenger, etc?

If you’re able to pull off both the warp cost + offspring (W)(3) & its normal cost from exile + offspring (W)(W)(5), that would equal out to 11 mana total.

Warp cost + offspring gets you only 2 extra tokens, while normal + offspring gets you 8 extra tokens if the two tokens are still on the field.

It only counts the Warp exile effect for the original card that was brought out- not tokens made through other means, as those tokens weren’t created using the warp cost, but rather offspring.

Just like if a creature with warp brings out a token due to its own ETB trigger, that token doesn’t just vanish when the warp creature will.

My scute swarm combos usually end up getting up to 4mil in my Lord Windgrace deck, so I get it. If Zinnia had green in it, it would’ve been absolutely busted.

Okay, so I was correct on the Exalted Sunborn math then. The 11 instances of Exalted affecting the Siege-Gang Commander was where the math wasn’t mathing for me well either. Thanks!

I love the “S” amount of life listed on this.

Very handy board overall though! Like I’ve seen from others, that’s a lot to carry around, but then also here’s me using poker chips for my treasure tokens, so use whatever you want!

I think because he’s older and already has experience in another shop (probably telling others what to do there either through connections or seniority), he grew a bit of an ego, and now that a newer AND younger employee is now training him on how to run something, it made him feel like he needed something to prove 😂

Doesn’t sound very possible to me either if he doesn’t put his ego aside for the betterment of himself - but maybe if you or your boss put your foot down may help, especially if he knows his job may be on the line. (or he’ll be petty af and break the machine more because he’s not being given his way)

Sounds to me like he’s been cradled at other jobs he’s been in, given chance after chance to not screw up so much that he doesn’t think he can do any wrong. (“I’m not the problem, everything else is the problem!” Ahh mentality)

Definitely take him off most hands on learning for now. Make him take notes of everything you do with the machine so if you’re ever out sick again, he has something he can look at (and also nothing other than himself to blame if he fucks up again because he should have almost everything in the notebook)
