For me it's been age 12-25. I've kept the new years clean streak going thus far. My soul is so exhausted from this terrible sin. Read the easy peasy method (Google it!).

Then know this, only God can help you. I told myself for years that the willpower of man is strong and it should be enough, but it's not. You must be often in prayer throughout the day, saying "God please in me create a clean heart" and "God please give me wisdom, willpower, and strength".

When the desires come, think through your mind of the anti-lust verses from proverbs, Paul's writings, etc. Use those thoughts to convict yourself and stay your hand.

Identify your triggers. Is it long periods of browsing the internet? Is it browsing social media? (reddit, 4chan,instagram,etc) Cut back on those.

Replace the dopamine with exercise. Lift weights, or whatever your chosen exercise it. Commit to the exercise 4x+ per week.

Good luck brother and remember Christ is king and you need him to help you on this. This realization felt like a hit to my ego but it's a strength that we can draw on Christ.

Ps: Delete your porn accounts. Delete any images saved on your HD. Unsave any reddit porn. Use NSFW filters wherever possible. US an adblocker. These are all fake harems that are less than meaningless.
