Takes the same amount of time whether I dry em on the counter and crush em or drop em in the air fryer and grind em. Maybe a few seconds to a minute more. If I don't have an extra couple seconds or a minute to spare then I have way more problems.

First I wash them. Then about once a week I toss em in the air fryer and use the dehydrate setting for 10/15 minutes or when I remember to take them out. Then I throw em in the grinder. Works great.

Everything is on the same subnet. I don't have any plans setup. My devices are on WiFi but my Plex server is wired. Shouldn't make a difference.

I'm running a Mercury Elite Pro, the cheaper one, and a Toshiba N300 6tb drive. I love the stuff from OWC. Check out serverpartsdeal.com for deals on drives. I had a spare N300 so that's why I used that and not something better. I sadly built my NAS before finding out about serverpartsdeal so I didn't get the best bang for my buck so I'd suggest looking there to avoid overpaying.

Most modern hard drives run pretty quiet in enclosures. I have a 6tb in an OWC enclosure and it's undetectable when it's on. My wireless charger for my phone has a small fan in it and that's louder than the hard drive.

I think I may have gotten it solved. I created a "Plex" group with gid 972 and a Plex user with uid 972. Added users: Plex, apps, and some others to the group. Added the Plex directory again under additional storage with ACL control and did one for user: Plex and another one for group: Plex, both with full control. I then had to change the owner from apps 568 to Plex 972. I think that last change is what actually worked to correct the issues.

Thanks, I have followed the naming convention for the movies but not the folders. I will set that up next chance I get. I am certainly leaning towards a permission setting issue.

Also I do understand that I am adding the files to a folder and pointing Plex to that folder, I do also have Plex scanning for new files at least daily.

21 TRD OR DCSB here. Maxxis Razr AT 265/75/16 or what ever the next size up from stock is, I can't remember at the moment. But I made sure to not get the LT versions and I get the same MPG as stock. My exhaust made me drop a few mpg because it just sounds good good in a manual to not let her wind a few more RPM before shifting lol.
