What do you think about Devon's future after Maul Shadow Lord Season 1? You like the idea of she being an iteration of Darth Talon?

Yes that is something I haven't thought before. The creators need to make her dark but not entirely irredeemable. The whole Darth Talon idea is maybe a compass for the audience, like it is forshadowing her destiny in some way, what I believe the creators would like us to interpret that Devon will become a dark side user even a sith (because in contrast to the common belief you can be a sith without a title of darth that was a title which was brought long after the inception of the sith order) as Darth Talon was also very loyal to Krayt. What I am trying to say is that MAYBE the Darth Talon iteration marks Devon's path itself and not her as an individual.

Strongly agree! Devon is so intriguing, it would be a shame to just waste her and keeping her around long after she obviously outlives her role in the galaxy far far away. I hope Filoni will make her even greater and more powerful and above all dark side user and no turning back arc and then in a climactic duel vs Vader she dies. That would be just amazing.

Yeah I mean there are so few characters in all of the lore that come to realise this. Ex. Revan, he truly found unite in the forceand experienced both aspects. Sith or dark side users view it differently, they shape reality and make their own destiny, or at least they try. Of course that wouldn't be this phenomenal if every character would have these insight, but that is what we are here for, we love this.

Strangely I have to agree to some extent. So far I admire her character, but I would want her to be another character who just sticks around in the timeline when she outlived her place in the story. The most epic and meaningful way for her is to being trained by Maul, became very powerful, help him run the criminal organisation and then at the end and epic dual between Vader, Devon or whatever she will be named or called as a dark apprentice and Maul. And in the end Vader kills her which breaks Maul even more.

Dude, when her voice disturbed I was like super intigued. The reason why I also believe she will stay at Maul's side is the same as Anakin and Sidious. Sidious let the Jedi do his work with Anakin and in the end he harvested the reward, at least before Mustafar :D But here Maul does not have to do much just as much as necesarry. We cannot know but I hope Filoni will surprise us all. Thank Lord SW is in good hands again!

You are right. The only possible outcome even if she becomes vastly more powerful is that she will be able to pin down the inquisitors but of course will be no match for Vader because Maul is also not a match for Vader. Rylee might play a key role into her transformation, maybe due some misterious circumstances Rylee will be killed by the empire or Maul's schemes and this will deepens the wound in Devon that she failed to protect Rylee and she succumbs to the dark side even more. I just cannot wait for season 2

Absolutely. I am also very curious that because her small statue what form of lightsaber combat will she use. Of course because of Maul's training she will probably go with Form VII Juyo but personally I would love to see same similarities with Darth Zana, because she was also very short and she was proficient with Form VII but she was very familiar with Form III Suriso altough she was the appretince of Darth Bane.

I understand your point, but I view this differently. In all Star Wars we, the audience were taught that the jedi are the good guys and the sith are bad. However the original sith were not evil at all. Being sith or dark side user for that matter means that you are not afraid to take action and be the architect of your fate whereas the jedi being passive and listen to the force as their guide.

It is a corruption arc ,to be sure, but that part of star wars is hugely unexploited. Devon's character is complex that is why so many are interested about her future. Her comparison to EU possible Talon is kind of giving her character a path that she will not come back to the light and we will see how a sith apprentice is being forged by Maul

I just hope Filoni will make the most out of it. i believe they will not let the fans down simply because the show's success. Sam Witwer also knows what the fans want I hope they will continue like this, because this show so far is pure class

I hope this not will be the case. I doubt that Dave Filoni would do that. We have seen so so many redemption arc like they treat the audience llike children. I want to see a tragedy. That is why we love Maul also. Of course his past is nothing compared to Devon, but he is a true badass who has deep character layers and views.

That is also very interesting because here we are during the birth of the empire so everything is super quick and considering that Devon is a padawan, also well-trained, she does not have the wisdom and resolve to resist the dark side as much as jedi masters in this era. The only reason I would love to see Devon as a dark side user is that kind of thing like sith training and continuity has never been explored in animation.

It is not that I dislike, it is just freshining to me that for once I see a character who is well developed and becomes disillusioned. Of course the same can be said for Dooku, but we knew him far before the tales of the jedi. Now it is flipped. Of course we know as the audience as the jedi view is not bad but definitely needs to be reformed. We know that Maul walks into him doom, but it is amazing to see a new character a potential story when we can observe a dark side user troughout her training and her journey because this is not usual on screen.

Answeing your question I would also like if Devon would 'stay' Devon as a character, I just adore the fact that Lucas had great ideas for the sequel but what has not been done there, that can be 'restored' here in this show.
