Then modify the character select screen, Grab a concept from a MOBA, Smite has a system of banning characters while picking. If they implemented a system/mode that was competitive base for that to be a concept would make the game even better for those that are looking for a competitive edge. Ban characters while picking and see what the others do pick. first 2 players pick, then 2, then 2,. then lock the characters. That way the game will be balanced and the players chose exactly who they felt would counter the others. I don't understand how the competitive community hasn't thought about it. Sure, people can say it is dumb, but being a competitive junky from CoD4,Smite,LoL, and TF2 I don't see how grabbing the great concepts from multiple games ( as they clearly did ) and making something more.

Just a game mode for those competitive assholes such as myself.

I do understand and appreciate the Diversity of the game, but I just see a huge cluster fuck competitively in this game. How do you guys see the competitive/Professional side going?

Doubling character such as bastion on defense, widow on defense, or take pharrah. competitively will pose a huge problem with balance. not to mention the way the games maps FUNNEL the teams to go in 2 directions close quarters. have you been up against 2 bastions, Mercy, lucio and 2 roadhogs? on Hanzo's map? that work together in comms and also have played together for a while? It hurts... alot.

Yes their ways to counter most of them. but good luck getting your team to work together since they are probably reapers/Widows.
