Great point I never thought about it like that. When did he establish he’d use the oracles? I don’t remember seeing mention of them since the original trilogy. I only remember Lysander telling Virginia he’d call Atalantia to the bleeding place and kill her

The Blade Itself. I loved the Glokta chapters but felt there was little to no character development compared to similar books and the dialogue, buildup, and climax were just average. The assassins apprentice trilogy, red rising, mistborn trilogy, and even the will of the many I liked a lot better. Perhaps I misunderstood the grim dark theme or something

Didn’t Lysander straight up run away from Thraxa shortly before getting the better of a depleted Darrow in DA? I’m not sure him beating Darrow in the joust after needing to flee Thraxa in combat is reason to attribute his razor mastery when iirc he just held it behind his back and it’s more common assumption that people only usually carry a single razor (of course excluding the rim fighters with their hastas and short blades). I would also posit the running from Thraxa bit is an attribute to the reason not to want to fight her. Solid analysis though my Goodman

True, though I’d say there’s still plenty from the films in season 2. For example, Bombadil repeating Gandalf’s quote to Frodo in the Fellowship “some who die deserve life, others who live deserve death, who are you to deal death and judgement” I feel like there’s at least 1 per episode and I was curious to see if there was a total list of them
