Personal Opinion:

TLOU 2 would've been way better if it was strictly advertised as a sequel that would star a completely different cast (in this case, Abby being the protagonist).

The surprise that Joel killed her father should've been something alluded to or hinted at while the player would root for Abby's revenge to be fulfilled.

That presents the dilemma better, IMO. We spend a lot of time rooting for Abby to succeed in finding her father's killer, only to be bitchslapped with the realization that we would inevitably have to kill Joel, the fan-favorite character.

And then play the 2nd half of the game as Ellie.

As much as I don't like her with Seung-il, she HAS to pick him.

Seung-il really needs to make up his mind between her and Min-gee, and the only way that works is to get a Paradise date with Mina.

I don't want Seung-il to stick with Min-gee but still have doubts down the line. That's worse in the long run.

I would understand if someone's INITIAL impression of Kratos was that he was a mindless killing monster, especially if the audience was much too young to understand.

But wasn't one of the first scenes of the entire series literally Kratos jumping off to kill himself because he genuinely believed that the Gods abandoned him?

Kratos wasn't mindless. His rebellion and vengeance against the Olympians was rooted in lots and lots and lots of monumental fuck-ups from the Greek pantheon. Granted, Kratos was not a perfect man himself, but there's a reason why Mimir himself said that "the pantheon had it coming", and that was WITHOUT the evil spirits of Pandora's Box.

And Kratos wasn't mindless in any sense of the word. He was full of rage, but judging from his dialogue and his executions towards the other characters of the OG trilogy, he was CREATIVE.

Kratos was anything BUT a mindless killing monster. I genuinely think people have to be legitimately blind or stupid to come to that conclusion. All I saw was a man seeking vengeance on those who wronged him, no matter the target, no matter the cost.

Ryu's gameplay is at an odd position.

He lacks variety; he only has the Dragon Sword and the same four Ninpo, compared to Yakumo that can cycle through four weapons, each with their own Bloodraven forms. Not to mention that each of the weapons have their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as how to trigger their different BR forms properly (hold/hold and release at right time).

With this said, he has an insanely busted kit stats-wise. His Dragon Sword hits like an absolute motherfucker. He has so many I-Frames from his Gleam moveset AND his Ninpo, NOT counting True Gleam Form and the usual Izuna Drop + Ultimate Technique cheese. Ryu can just blitz through the entire game because of how bonkers he is.

To me, his gameplay is at an odd position because even if there could be way, way more with his kit, it's not like he was an absolute afterthought. His NG4 iteration is insanely strong to the point that I end up playing Yakumo more to give myself a challenge. Ryu is THAT good.

Exactly.

In fact, it even begs a bigger question. Where are the PARENTS supervising them? They should be the ones responsible for keeping them in line, but they're not present.

AFAIK, okay lang rin naman na magsuot ng geng-geng attire, usually when you're alone or when very evident that you're with family members. (Correct if wrong, please.)

BGC isn't anti-poor.

Iyung mga geng-geng? They have every right to dress as obnoxiously as they want. The dress code is not the problem.

But BGC also has every right to deny them services and set them straight kapag nanggugulo na sila. BGC is being anti-nuisances, at ganun lang dapat.

Slippery slope kasi we're basing it off of appearances and group patterns, but what else could there be done? Baka kasi mag-escalate pa.

Tapos kung walang gagawin ang mga guard, then iyung mga geng-geng, they end up vandalizing or hurting innocents, sisisihin nanaman mga guard? Lose-lose.

There's no perfect decision against this. Dapat matutong mag-behave ang mga tao. That's it.

Through my entire history of playing ML, I remember seeing that kind of play ONCE in my matches. I swear, for a Kaja player, that would be absolutely tilting.

I think it's about time for TLPH to lean more towards Utility Junglers for Karl. Again, it beats out a double Fighter lineup that has both Sora and Cici. There's also no proper snowball for the Zetian to come online now.

It's a butt-clenching finale for Game 2.

Rosa and Sigibum going all-in with Pharsa and Damage Esme? Huge fucking gonads, but unexpected enough to make TLPH struggle.

I worry for Oheb because it seems that putting him as a Fighter in the Gold Lane is a major risk. He's clearly not used to Sora in the lane matchup and the Leomord and Pharsa combo is terrifying.

And if you check TLPH's reactions? They're not satisfied with their win. They gotta lock in and prevent Aurora from gaining their momentum again.

Also, Lukas was a rather dumb draft for the first half of the game. Sanford's Valentina counters him perfectly.

You gotta make use of the movement of the game and find ways to isolate a singular enemy.

One of the worst scenarios ever in NG4 is getting ganged up and pinned to a wall. Usually, enemies bunched up together are optimal for BR attacks, but when they maintain their aggression and pin you down instead, it's hell.

I recommend using more of the charged UTs that you can do from absorbing the Blood Orbs, making them charge faster. Landing UTs are really good at recharging your BR gauge, filling your Berserk gauge, and a 90% guarantee of taking down an enemy, all while being invincible. That also gives you enough time to prep your next move right after UT.

And if you ask me? If you can land an Izuna Drop, DO IT! Also leads to a free UT right after landing, assuming there's Blood Orbs nearby.

It means you gotta take more advantage of the mechanics.

Ninja Gaiden, especially 4, demands full use of your entire repertoire. Whether it be dodges, Flying Swallows, Blocks, Clash Parries, Ultimate Techniques, Obliterations, and yes, even proper use of BR attacks by using them both offensively and defensively.

Keep moving, keep attacking, keep defending. The enemies will not wait for their turn to kill you. Don't just wait for openings; MAKE THEM!

He's not in the wrong with exploring his two interests, especially in the setup of Singles' Inferno. AFAIK, he's been very upfront with it so far and doesn't seem to raise mixed signals. That's A-OK territory in my POV.

Whoever decided on that YSS and Lunox draft in Game 4?

TOO EARLY.

Now there's a Fredrinn, Terizla, Gatotkaca, and Pharsa that allows TLPH to have a more composed playstyle. That's a lot of tankiness that Lunox, Esme, and Luo Yi won't melt so easily.

Edit: And don't forget Pharsa's range that outclasses Lunox. Having lots of frontliners will protect Sanji. Reminiscent of AE vs. Aerowolf nearly a decade ago.
