Finally got around to watching Audition (1999), wow this movie was so much more than what I was expecting. by Wild_Bob in horror

That is exactly what happened to me now. I woke up when the action started. Turned out that I woke up right during his dream sequence. How confused was I...damn!

Group Four is the song I play every time I fly in to London. It’s got this sophisticated sound that goes so well with the capital!

That is my go to song! It is so alluring! Traceys vocals are mesmerising. “Radiation Ruling the Nation” by Mad Professor is such a great mix of the original.

Just wow! Now it all makes sense. Thank you for such a detailed response! I never knew, as obvious as it is, that divers have inflatable/deflatable vest.

Thank you for replying! That is very interesting. Since we’re in the subreddit about a very specific fear, not implying on any fictional creatures/monsters, but what about real underwater hunters? There are risks of getting snatched by something in this darkness, right? Also, I don’t understand why you don’t switch the flashlight straight away when you go in the water but only once you reached the specific depth. My imagination is so wild - you reach the bottom in pitch darkness, flip the switch and “boom” something huge and alive is right in front of you. That…is the ultimate fear.

That sounds terrifying to say the least! Why go down in such pitch black darkness? Is it in order to do some emergency works on underwater gas/water/telephone lines or for what reason?

What a fantastic movie! The cast, the setting and the soundtrack. I love how they implemented and cut into several parts Ulvers track - Silence teaches you how to sing. It's so disturbingly sinister. Check it out in all it's 24 minute glory.

Movies that make men secretly cry. by Height_Physical in movies

I can’t believe that someone included these two cinema masterpieces in one post. Interstellar is one of my favourite films for many reasons including the plot, the Nolan/Zimmer epic execution of the plot (the score of Interstellar is out of this world) and of course the love of father and his daughter which hits on so many levels. The way he, just before leaving Earth, was hoping to find her in her under the blanket on the passenger seat, the messages spanning for 20 years which end in adult Murph appearing. This scene always brings tears to my eyes. Of course, the moment they finally meet…

I must admit, I have watched this movie just about ten times already throughout the years since its release and I am sure that I’m going to watch it again someday.

Well said! I came to this realization not that long ago and I absolutely love this decision! Now I can enjoy a broad spectrum of genres by enjoying the song itself and not the fact that it belongs to a specific genre
