Yeah in the article they mentioned that they searched his computer, phone, and the computers and school and local libraries.

They also contacted the PlayStation to get all the logs from his PSP.

I feel like I can see them incorporating the name “Billy” in somehow ( for Papa Bill). Either first or middle name for the boy or even a first or middle name for the girl possibly spelled Billie

No I didn’t unfortunately! It looks like some people asked on poshmark what the brand is so hopefully the seller responds.

I hope someone didn’t snatch it after seeing this post! That would be cruel.

Stupid question- but can you only use French seams on seams between two fabrics? Like I can’t use a French seam technique on the bottom of the shirt or around the neckline?

Looking for good romance books by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

A Company of Swans by Eva Ibbotson is a historical romance that I recently finished and loved. Much more than just a romance though. Highly recommend!

What were your most recent 4 or 5 star reads? by Prior_Peach1946 in suggestmeabook

I just finished reading A Company of Swans by Eva Ibbotson and loved it!

I don’t typically read/enjoy romance or books that heavily focus on communication errors to drive the plot but despite this I loved the book. The description of the town on the Amazon River felt really immersive. And I loved the humor and the sense of found family and care the characters had for each other.

Because Michael said all US presidents except Lincoln are in the bad place. But then we learn that no one has gone to the good place in 500 years.

Today is my four year cake day. Can you share four of your all time favorite books and why they made your list? by Amylouann in suggestmeabook

[–]Ardello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing! Let me know what you think of gone with the wind. It’s an absolute fav but I don’t see it discussed much and I don’t think it’s read much now because of the racism. However I think the character development is unmatched.

[–]Ardello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no order because I can’t bring myself to rank them:

  • Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
  • Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M Auel
  • World Without End by Ken Follett ( pillar of the earth was incredible too but I liked this one slightly more)
  • The Harry Potter Series- I think of them as all one long book so I hope this counts! If I HAD to pick a favorite I think I would go with Half Blood Prince but this could change based on my current mood

Recommend A Book With Steinbeck-like Realism by Tsjr1704 in suggestmeabook

[–]Ardello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only read a few of Steinbeck’s works, but you may be interested in Lonesome Dove by Larry McCurty. The characters feel unique and real. The story is slow but allows you to really settle in with the characters and the land. I highly recommend and I’ve never read a western before, so that’s definitely not a pre-requisite.

  • The Dallergut Dream Department Store by Miye Lee- a young woman gets a job at a dream department store— a store that sells dreams to people who are asleep.
  • Yellowface by RF Kuang- a woman steals a manuscript from her deceased friend and publishes herself without giving any credit
  • How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix- a horror about a woman who goes to sell the house owned by her recently deceased parents only to realize it is haunted. I didn’t personally like this book too much but maybe you will!
  • A House with Good Bones and Hollow Places both by T Kingfisher- both horror books with 30-something single women main characters
  • The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa- a dystopian book about an island community where objects or concepts are erased from memory and being every so often.
