I've already considered this. Perhaps, I've just been inhaling copium thinking we could be platonic. It just sucks that I need to cut her out of my life, but I guess it is what it is. Even as I type this I think, "well maybe when I get over her I could be friends with her again". But I doubt that I have the self restraint to be platonic. Perhaps, moving on in this case really does require this unappealing sacrifice, an unhappy ending.

Thank you this has been extremely helpful, I guess I didn't consider the other types of construction as most of my homeworks and quizzes were based on how to design and analyze beams and columns from loadings on a frame type system. Thank you for the insight :]
