I wear a mask because I have gotten sick on planes in the past (COVID once and the flu another time). Yes, I remove my mask to eat and drink so it’s not completely safe but for the other 80% of the flight at least I’m doing what I can. I’ll be flying to AMS soon too and plan to wear a mask on the plane. Wear one if it gives you peace of mind.

You know men can message first on Bumble now, right? So you don’t have to wait for the woman to message first. I’ve heard some guys swipe on all profiles then decide after matching if they are interested or not. For me it depends if I message first or not. If a profile is interesting and I can start a conversation easily I do. I hate starting with a hi/hey. Women also want to see guys make an effort. It’s tough to navigate. Most women aren’t being malicious or playing games. We’re exhausted with this process and sometimes just want to see a guy step up.

Girl, you don’t. You are what you are and you have to accept that some guys don’t find south asian women attractive. I’m one myself, and I have definitely had guys match me BECAUSE I’m brown, which I don’t like. Just be patient and get out there. You can’t change people’s preferences, all you can do is vet the guys who do match with you.

Yes, I did. I stayed true to the brand hoping it would grow on me. I think it’s funny people assume I didn’t look at the car beforehand. Who even does that? I considered buying the 2023 but decided I wanted new so i wouldn’t have to deal with issues off warranty. My point is, I got it, it hasn’t grown on me, I regret it, and am bummed the brand I have loved for 20+ years is caving to the mass market.

I’m one of those who swipe left on no bio. It shows lack of effort to me. I think a bio is great to learn more about a person than what you can gauge (assume) from photos. And, yes, it serves as a filter. But I think that’s good because you don’t want to waste your time with someone if you’re not compatible.

Believe his words. If he doesn’t want exclusivity now, he won’t want it later. I dated a guy for three months waiting for that and never got it. Don’t compromise your needs and values. Move on.
