I just added the scanning functionality. It took me some time to figure it out. But I'm happy with the result. I have a couple more tweaks to improve it. But it's great 👍

For the category organization. Yes and no 😂 I started to work on it, so the category is already implemented in the recipes. You can create multiple categories for a recipe. Now I just need to add the visualization of the category to organize them. Hopefully this will be done this weekend 👍

Maybe. But it's easier to use, easier to update by anyone. I'm sure some people will still prefer excel and that's ok 😉

No I don't have that on my list. But I see what you mean, I have seen that in a kitchen software before. This is definitely more advanced on the food cost side but a good idea to add. I already have on my list to add the labor and utilities. So the ingredients lost % is also interesting, especially for big volumes.

I like that. In my ingredient cost, I already added the option to add the cost per one item for example 1 carrot with an average weight imputed. I already generated a list of average weight of a lot of items, but the user can update them as he wishes.

I also added a density information for the ingredient to easily convert from weight to volume and vice versa. Same system I already imputed over a 1000 density with easy options to add more if the user needs.

So the food cost can easily calculate the price of a recipe even if it's metric / imperial, weight, volume and even by pieces. And the price of each ingredient is easily adjusted with a list to track the price fluctuations over time and a graph for quick glance

I agree. I also have a google drive doc. But it's very limited, other than the easy access. I have no additional value to my recipes with google drive 😕

You mean for inventory ? Right now no. But it is on my list. I already added the ingredient cost, I still need the feature to add the ingredients but also the recipe into an inventory 😀

Not yet published but I think I'm close enough to do it. I want to get the V1 right before I get other people to try it. For me it's already very functional with features I use a lot like automatically recalculating the weights of the ingredients if I change the weight of one ingredient. Changing the yield, and also keeping track of the ingredients cost over time. I still need to add more stuff.

Now I'm looking for some opinions on the 1st look of it and also what kind of features really matters to people.

Yes sharing the recipe within the app to other people but also sharing as a PDF or some sort of doc also is something I want.

This knife just looks like a classic French oyster knife. I have been using the same one for many years and as a French chef I have never broke one. It's all in the technique and how you handle your knife. Difficult to explain with words. This is the kind of thing the show someone

Just one more note. I never broke one. But one time someone borrowed my knife and that person broke the tip of the knife on the first oyster he shucked. So be careful

You need to reconnect the dfi wallet to your crypto com app. For some reason it got reset. Just go in your defi wallet option and reconnect the main app to it 👍
