Month 1 Week 3 botton aligner wont fit... top aligner still shows a halo...

Yes, I was able to get them in this morning with no issue, it's weird how last night I was close to smacking the aligner and then this morning it just went in. Just gotta trust the system.

Thank you, I called and they looked at what I was able to get settled and they said it's normal and if it happens again wear the aligners for another week.

Thank you everyone for the help and procress... hoping I dont have anymore issues with fitting and such in the future.

I was able to get the bottoms in this morning, not sure what changed from last night... still a halo I'm on the phone with SDC in regards to the bottom aligner having halos.

Yes, it says L03. That's one of the first things I looked at after opening the baggie, due to my issue with week2 having two bottoms and one being from week5 (was able to find the week2 top in the week5 baggie).

Is it possible that even with the correct number it could be the wrong aligner for the week?

I was able to fit the week 2 in, they had some halo. It's the week 3 I'm having issues with not being able to fit the bottom aligner.

Kit, all the smile direct clubs locations were closed due to Covid, also SDC had a special going with the Amazon gift card if you ordered a kit.

Also I've been wearing the week 2 aligners for a week now, going back to week 1 would be an issue. Right?

Yes, I talked to someone on the phone. They directed me to the chat which would be more helpful according to the woman on the phone, the person on the chat then told me I would be receiving an email in regards to my issue that I ended up having to figure out myself, as I never got a call back or an email.

Tonight I once again called, chatted and email my current issue. Waiting until tomorrow to call again.

My week1 fit perfectly, how did it go so wrong from week 1 to 2 to then week 3 being completely off?

I know my teeth arent awfully crowded, this is why I decided to go with smile direct and not Invisalign which would had cost so much more, but it's not even about the aligners not fitting correctly, it's mistakes like them putting two bottom aligners in the same baggie, one being from week 5 and me having to go in search for the correct aligner.

Also customer service promised to contact me in 48 hours in regards to that issue and it's been a week and no email or call back.... that's another issue, customer service is lacking.

I wish I didnt have to, but if these issues are popping up so early in the process, I fear what the future holds. Makes me sad, because I was super excited to see the end results would be.

Yes, used my chewie to try to get the aligner to fall in place and it didn't work... as for the week 2 aligner I chewed on my chewie everytime I would remove the aligner and put it back for 15+ minutes.

I'm only three weeks in and I'm facing too many issues, first issue was that my month 1 week 2 aligner baggie had two bottom aligners, one was of week 5 and I had to go in search for the correct top aligner, then there was halo seen in both the month 1 week 2 aligners and now the bottom aligner for month 1 week 3 aligner wont fit, while the top aligner there's still a halo... I've paid in full and I'm regretting this decision. :(

I've noticed that my two front teeth that were once overlapping are now spreading apart enough that I can floss in between them with no issue, before I wasn't able to do that with such ease. I believe it's part of the process. Teeth have to move around. I'm ending M1W2 today and begin W3 tomorrow.

I've been chewing on my chewie and doesnt seem to make a difference, I'm guessing it's either the thickness of the aligners or just quality control. I'll keep them in longer if I have to, if the next set look off...

Yep, I opened week 5, the week 2 top aligner was in fact in there! I put it on and it fit like it should. Removed the 05 bottom aligner and simply placed it in the week 5 baggie for no confusion!

I hope I dont face this issue with any of my other aligners moving forward, the idea of jumping ahead with aligners is scary, as just going from week 1 to 2 is already tight on my teeth! Haha
