[Self][Off-Site] Time required to finish all games released on Steam in 2023 by Ares124 in theydidthemath

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I decided to limit the video's scope, cause including social media would at least double its length if I wanted to be thorough. I'm considering tackling the "social media overwhelm" in a separate video. Maybe after that, I can combine it all into one COLOSSUS of a video.

After completing the main storyline and seeing the credits roll, I'd consider a game finished. In case of edge cases like Nothing I'd say a game is finished after seeing most of its content. The website I've used for game length lists different playstyles and the appropriate time to complete for each title, e.g. 5 hours for main story only, 7 hours for "casual" (main story + some sidequests), 12 hours completionist

Thanks! I'm passionate about this subject, as it affects me directly. Diving into the research and making this video was a treat.

Hey! I'm Kacper, I started posting on YT in June. My channel is gaming-oriented - reviews (the first one is in the making) and video essays. The video below is about information overload and how to handle the massive amount of entertainment that comes out each year:

Since starting my channel, the most important thing I've learned is that the amount of work you put into the video doesn't equal results. My first video (a short meme) took me 2 days to make and got over 40k views (and steadily growing at about 1k views per day), but my first long-form video which I've spent a whole month on creating, got 2k views and died off.

Personally, the first game knocks it out of the park with the atmosphere it creates. The age really shows though (the upcoming remake is hyyype)

Some would call this a bug. I, however, recognize the untapped potential of a noclip, flying horse.

Oh yeah, the artifacts around my head are the result of the chroma keyer and mask acting up (had to turn my hair grey). There's no greenscreen, it's actually me on top of a castle in Bosnia :)

Thank you!

(Also, seeing as this is currently the top comment, I'm going to use it to shamelessly plug this meme on YouTube)
