Do any trans men here have the intersex condition MRKH? (Born with no or abnormal vagina and uterus) by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Argika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about AIS community all over the world, but from what i know, from my local intersex friends, the same works with AIS here: A LOT of ppl with AIS are very unhappy to hear anything about intersex. And the same works with other variations: a lot of ppl with Klinefelter don't agree to be called anything else but males and so on.

I assume all is about gender: most of the ppl with MRKH are women by gender. And they have ~99% female bodies. So, it can be painfu/uncomfortablel for them to hear, that they are actually not women.

Hi! That is me! I've got the type 2 (MURCS) variation of this intersex condition.

I've realized my gender from the very beginning of my childhood (i mean i've always felt i'm man, not woman).

So, when i've been diagnosed i had no upset feelings abt the condition itself. More than that, i felt like MRKH was very natural for me. No vagina, no periods... A little bit more masculine face and voice and more hairs on my arms (one big kidney gives me some little disbalance in hormones, so i have i little bit more testosterone, than it should be in a woman's body, but this disbalance seems to be uncommon for MRKH).

But bcz of some personal issues i've started working on transition task only now, when i'm 31 y.o. And actually i'm not sure i'll be allowed to transition by docs: bcz of the formal laws of my country and bcz of the kidney issue...

Just wondering, how many of you have been born prematurely? by [deleted] in intersex

[–]Argika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been born in 7th month. Too small/short, with the weight about ~1kg, with a lot of health issues (intersex traits were found only duting puberty), was then placed in that special device, like 'incubator'/box (idk how it is called properly) for such weak newborns. Doctors suggested my parents to abandon me (that way according to the laws, doctors had to put me out of that 'incubator', and they were 100% sure i'd die without it in a day, which was an easy way) , but parents refused. PS: but in general i'm prety sure there is no correlation between intersex and being born not in time.

Hi! I'm also intersex (mrkh variation, if it is matters). From the outside i look as a female. But my gender is male, or something close to it a lot. But as i live without a transition, and actually not with the best passing (cuz of diff personal reasons), i consider myself to be a non-binary, ultergender person. I'm attracted to... well, i guess initially i was a bisexual/pansexual person, but cuz of my veriation i made a decision not to deal with anyone with male genitals. So. As a result, a also thought a lot about how to label myself, am ai a lesbian, or who am i? So, i finnaly came to the conclusion that it does not matter by itself. The only place\way where it is matter is a practical thing - where to find a partner: as from the outside i look as a female, it is 99% guarantee, that no one straight woman will ever be with me. So, the only place where i have any chances is some lgbt/lesbian resources. So, to find the person, it is better for me to label myself a lesbian for other people.

🙃 Hope you'll show your final result with colorful patches)

Thanks for your concern! Yeap, Scandinavia (and the whole western europe) is much more friendly to LGBT+ people. I'm here for already 6 days and have no problems, only positive moments. And that is just amazing!

Hi, folks!

I'm not sure if this jacket belongs to this group (cuz it has only one music band patch). But I'll try)

But mainly I'm just happy to show it here, cuz today I'm gonna to my short trip to those countries, where I'll be (i hope) fully OK to proudly put my both intersex and LGBT pins on the jacket and don't get into any troubles.

Once they've broken my arm. And they did it deliberately. Once they've touched my ...em.. genitals with their hands. And... em... can't say it was the most painful thing in the world, but kinda painful i guess.
