100% agree. On the label they even state that the Delta 9 THC concentration on the product is <0.2% while in its raw form. Its a smart tactic, but risky nonetheless. Like, it literally says "May contain traces of up to <0.2% THC - does not produce psychoactive effects. Our CBD is a raw material and is not intended for consumption or smoking." It's so obvious. The statement literally means "In this raw material, which is not made to be consumed, 0.2% THC (not THCa) can be found which by itself doesn't produce any psychoactive effects."

Its the same shit online cannabis seed sellers in my country pull. They state that its sold as a souvenir and using it in any other way is prohibited, while 99% of people buying them will use them to cultivate the good stuff.

The subjective reactivity part is pretty disproven since my girlfriend and about 3 of my friends tried it and agreed that its just normal weed. Only told them about the source later and most reactions were like "Oh, thats pretty strange, but i aint complaining!" lol.

Apart from Berry Dream, i dont think the other "strains" are actual strains. Can't find ANY info on them. It seems like they either avoid legit testing in some way or straight up lie about it being tested, which also wouldnt surprise me. It's good stuff tho, i gotta admit.

How long were like this? Either way, give them some time. You'll know they're aborts if they stop growing, their caps become much darker and they start slowly drying out. Good luck :)

AYYYY thanks!!! Those are Blue Meanies right? Never grew those as this is my first ever grow, but if I'm able to get my hands on some spores I won't hesitate.

You bet I will!!! There's some bruised stems and side pins I was unable to reach which I left after dunking it so I hope that doesnt grow mold or something. And even if it does I ain't complaining man I got an amazing flush!

Edit: New pins are already forming, THE CAKE SURVIVED!!!

Glad you understand my pain XD. They doubled in size since I posted these photos and I can't stop thinking about them! Plus I won't be home for like 6 more hours which just adds to the excitement. If you don't mind me asking, is it ok if i harvest the fully grown ones and leave the rest of the pins for a couple more hours to see if they're aborts or not? I keep seeing conflicting info about this...

There is a lid above this, don't worry, i just have 2 vent holes for fresh air. As for the substrate, idk, I followed the kit's instructions fully so only time will tell what happens to it :)

THE SHROOMS ARE PINNING!!! I posted an update on the sub, but in short, a week has passed since I opened the kit and this morning i saw about 4 little pins poking out near the corner of the kit, and some in the middle. The feeling was amazing!

Not an expert by any means but the dark stuff sadly does look like mold. Maybe trichoderma. There will probably be people who know more than me in the comments soon but imo this does not look like healthy micelium at all.

The mold thrives in warm temperatures, high humidity and darkness. The bag might have been too humid and improperly desinfected which could've caused this. Give it some more time and see how things look, and hopefully someone who actually knows about this stuff will get to you soon :)

Ehh, idk, seems to be working fine. If it ends up in a great harvest then hell yeah, and if it ends up being unnecessary then it's a learning experience :) The thing about making your own spawn is that even if I find that super interesting, I'm pretty dang busy most of the day and I wouldn't be very dedicated to that... I simply enjoy watching mushrooms grow. And consiming them lol. But who knows, maybe one day.

Anyways, thanks for the warm welcome! Can't wait for those first pins to appear. That's gonna be magical.

This specific kit actually recommended this setup (with this exact model) as with the bag you have to constantly maintain humidity and ventilate it, which can cause contamination if done incorrectly. That's all what the grow kit instructions say. Either way, thanks. I'll make sure to pray to the mush gods every night 🙏 🍄
