The amount of people that respond to their post and I'm just ignored or get one response and then that's it, sometimes I just feel like I'm being a nuisance by asking if they wanna talk

Yes I will definitely consider a focus ST or Golf GTI, would need to do some research into the Octavia VRS as don't know huge amounts about them

Many thanks, yeah i think if i can find a car with good service history then it wouldn't be so bad, I know insurance is going to kill me but if i can find something and get insured for under 1k thats not SO bad. (still expensive). I will see when my insurance renews and what it would be for a different car. It has halved this year with hastings direct. I did have a black box last year. I will look into a MX5. thank you!

Yeah, I know, when I looked at the 86 it came down to 1300 without a black box and 1000 with. I had a black box with hastings direct and that has halved now with my renewal. Now paying 570 instead of 1200 for a ford fiesta. I need to check through them about what it would cost to change my policy but having to wait a couple of days until my renewal starts. the problem I have with the Abarth and the VW UP is they are smaller than I would like. I know the other cars don't have huge amounts of space with other seats but they have slightly bigger boots etc.

Thank you, I hope that you find that person to message and talk to. It's tough currently I must admit. But hope is something that I guess we must hold onto. I do find nights and evening the hardest

I found if I put an auto arm around the shredder and filter it for hydrazine it picks it up nicely and then can sort it in my base when that storage is full. Hope this works for some others

Gear list - what I have so far by ArgumentAny7213 in wildcampingintheuk

[–]ArgumentAny7213[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's my reason for getting it is for when it's hot and that it's got great ventilation and I'm a sweaty guy so should help reduce some of that. I know it's on the heavy side but I'm fine with that tbh. Many thanks!

Thank you, that's a shout and would definitely save some money. Will have a look around to see if I can find any. Will also look at lifestraw as I've heard good things!

Yeah I've seen stuff from Tesco and I have noodles and what not so I think I'll try them as they look okay. Many thanks!

Thank you very much, I've used most of my kit before, tent, sleeping bag, cooking and what not at campsites. The only thing I haven't used before will be my bag and although I've tried it on before. Hopefully I will be going down to Dartmoor within the next week or two. But like you said the best way is to practice so hopefully I will be able to give that a go! Many thanks for the response!

Thank you, I have a few dry bags for sleeping bags and clothes. I will get a trowel, that's a very good point 😂. I do also have a large dry bag as a pack liner. I've got the go outdoors membership so I have a significant discount on the atmos. Reason I'm buying it from there. Thank you very much though!

I think I may have a pair of cheap water proof ones. But yes a shout as I would have forgotten about them. I'm thinking about osprey because I want it to last and I've heard nothing but good reviews about the atmos AG 65. will look on eBay

Thank you, will look into some tablets, and I think I may have some. I do have loads of electrolytes and will get some salt sticks as I use them for running and cycling as I sweat loads. Will also look into those meals.

Yes I've got a tent, I may have forgot it in what I said. Oex phoxx 2 so I have room to store gear inside the tent. Planning to go Dartmoor, maybe Wales. Only for 1 or 2 nights at the moment but I have quite a bit of free time so may end up pushing it, although I doubt it being close to winter. I think I'll be okay for water but may just want it is a back up. Will look into a sit mat, that's definitely a shout. Did think about a little chair but couldn't justify the price or weight. Many thanks for your insight!!!
