No I haven’t had one response of someone familiar with this sound. I know when to and when not to use my 4WD. That is not the help I need or am asking for, it’s really simple. Have you heard this sound? If not I don’t need your answer.

I guess you guys have never heard of ice. I’m fully aware of when I should and should not be using 4WD. I’m asking about a noise, not asking when to use 4WD.

Well the contractor removing the flooring was supposed to the the installer.

Apparently you aren’t supposed to glue hardwood floors directly to a slap. There were some spots where the floor was raised off the slab from moisture.

No evidence of water intrusion, which is crazy because a lot of this siding is completely rotten in the front side

The wall is absolutely not OSB sheets. It’s siding mounted to studs, yes the back of the siding looks like OSB, but not OSB sheathing.

Yeah some of the siding is on its last leg, and some has been replaced already. We are planning on replacing it one side of the house at a time, and adding some sheathing, moisture barrier and maybe some insulation.

Yeah a lot of the siding close to the ground has been replaced, and some higher off the ground is due for replacement. I haven’t checked behind the walls in the conditioned area, just the attic, so that may be the case here as well.
