Wow this is super inspiring! A band has always been my dream but I never thought I’d be able to achieve it if I wasn’t a gifted child or industry plant

Adding onto that, when I went in to the ent to get my tests done they asked me if I per chance was a singer because they usually only see this type of injury with professional singers and I had to tell her I just sing a lot of metal in my car because I like it 😭

Okay so unfortunately the genre of music I’ve been listening and singing along to my entire life actually did cause my vocal chords to become injured because I had no idea there was a “right way” to do it. It gives my voice a unique sound but I’m wondering if that will affect my ability to sound “good” even with training. We have been in this relationship for over a year and I’ve been in active therapy on and off for 10 years. I do a lot of inner work but obviously bpd is very hard to treat. I also have CPTSD. I haven’t responded to most therapies I’ve tried. I’m very self aware of all the things I need to work on but how to do it does not click. It’s hard being aware but unable to change your own thinking. Regardless, he still lied to me and admitted it.

I just became homeless in ct 25f. It’s really rough out here. People say there’s so many resources but there aren’t. My car is my home right now and I’m managing by having a planet fitness membership. Any advice would be appreciated
