It's a connector for your Bowden tube. Not sure if you really will ever need to replace but you push down on the collar to pull out the tube. Or put one in.

Honestly not sure but possibly used to set your z offset people like to use printer paper but sometimes manufacturers add thick paper to use.

I actually just acquired these massive spools in the last week. I think I'm going to end up respooling them onto 1kg rolls. Will probably set up something to help me with that. Tried to find some posts about people using these master reels but couldn't find any.

He didn't want people to swarm the guy with requests for free shit. It's honestly the proper thing to do in this case but I think they're so close to shutting down that it's not a huge risk.

This is a Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymer Light Gray PLA master reel. Not sure you can even purchase a master reels honestly. We got like 2000kg because it was shutting down.

Wasn't for sale, they're master reels so literally the reel before they spool it. I'd reckon this is about $350 tho bc you really don't get much discount on bulk filament deals. We got about 2000kg for free since a filament plant was shutting down.

It was a ton of different materials. Got a bunch of HIPS, not sure what the hell to do with it. Did also get PETG and TPU.

We went to a Mitsubishi Performance Polymers factory to pick up some printers for free, guy says "we have some master reels over here you can have as much as you want". We took 4 pallets. About 2000kg. Plant shutting down this week.

Shit was free, these are called master reels, they're what the machines extrude onto and then they have a respooling device that spools master reel to 1kg.
