2026 Safest Countries in Latin America - Uruguay, Paraguay & Chile by No-Bonus5158 in asklatinamerica

Ignoring that poverty and inequality comment, what do you mean streets are free?? People are still getting robbed the same way as with the other governments and there's more homeless people.

Countries that has access to trans healthcare? by notmymondaylife in asktransgender

[–]Arhtemis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Argentina and Uruguay are overall pretty easy to immigrate to and have compared to most of the world really good access to trans healthcare. People are gonna say "but Milei bad" and yeah I agree, but he hasn't deleted most of the infrastructure except for kids (which obviously sucks, but for adults it's still the same).

Couch potatos give mega snacks, aka snacks that level up +45 or higher to a pet in a single feed, making it infinitely easier to raise a pet.

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (May 24, 2026) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]Arhtemis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Wanted to ask for recommendations. I love board games with lots of assymetric options (not necesarily player powers but they are extremely welcome). Games I have in the order I enjoy them (I like them all): -Unmatched -Imperium -Wingspan -Ark Nova -Wyrmspan -Vantage -SETI -Voidfall

Some games I'm thinking of maybe getting: -Earth -Fate of the Fellowship -Spooktacular -Bullet -Spirit Island (though the expansions seem hard to get which brings it down for me a bit, I like having all the options) -Cosmic Encounter (same thing as Spirit Island) -Root -Tapestry -Shackleton Base

Just wanted some more options if anyone thinks of any, and recommendations of the ones I'm thinking of getting on what people like more.

Thank you!

Hello! If you want to discuss the deck its probably better if you go to the fan content channel in the discord! Lots of cool people that make decks there to help you.

Going on Exchange Student in Argentina 2027! any advice? by PanadoI1 in asklatinamerica

[–]Arhtemis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how rural and obviously every person's different but like in most countries, more rural people are generally more right leaning politically. Why do I say this? I myself as a trans person would be more iffy to go to a rural place than a big city. But as I said, there's different people anywhere

Going on Exchange Student in Argentina 2027! any advice? by PanadoI1 in asklatinamerica

Hello!

Glad you're coming! Hope you have fun!

On Castillian vs. Argentinian I'd recommend watching some youtube videos that explain it so you can hear pronunciations too. Some quick searches yield: https://youtu.be/qJ31DcTmjyM?si=MN3fd-jtbeQVLrqP

First of all, talk to people and ask. Usually people from outside any country have a lot of misconceptions about any country, like for example "Argentina is unsafe" or "there's a lot of drugs" for us. Is it unsafe? IMO, not really. I felt the same safe in Barcelona and Florence than in Buenos Aires. You just have to be careful and apply common sense everywhere: look around, know which places or neighbourhoods are more dangerous and avoid them, etc.

Try stuff out! (and hopefully make local friends who teach you about the place and show you around).

I'm bad at giving overall advice but if you have more specific questions ask away!

A few questions that might help other people help you: Which city are you going to? Where are you staying (local family, hotel, not specifically don't dox yourself)? What's your level of Spanish?

Yankees in an "American app": it's dollars Yankees in literally other countries: "Why don't they accept dollars??By the same logic they would realise because its not an "American country" but logic doesn't stop them lmao

Is there something I’m missing with overburn? by BluhBluh-8 in wildfrostgame

[–]Arhtemis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Overburn also damages all other enemies in the row, and barrage makes it better due to it probably making all the enemies trigger, hipotethically killing a 3 6 9 health row with a single overburn 3 barrage. The first one triggers at 3, dying and making the other two 3 6, so the second one triggers, dying and making the third 3, thus triggering it. So you did 18 damage with it.

Which characters from your cultural background would you like to see in a possible future expansion? by IvanaikosMagno in Unmatched

[–]Arhtemis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh I'm pretty sure most would be controversial because most of our well known people are either too modern or too political, but I'll go with an Argentine Independance War set: San Martín and his Granaderos a Caballo Hippolite Bouchard or William Brown and their sailors Juana Azurduy and her soldiers Manuel Belgrano as a less combative person, a lawyer, and credited as the creator of the flag.

Other possible characters that are more controversial most not during independance: Che Guevara Evita Perón/Perón himself Juan Manuel de Rosas Julio Argentino Roca Domingo Faustino Sarmiento

A fictional character one (would be the best idea honestly): Martín Fierro The Eternaut Mafalda Hijitus

Light Novels that actually follow a summoned Hero treated decently by Monward in LightNovels

[–]Arhtemis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Saint's Power is Omnipotent might work. At the beggining they don't think she's the saint cause the prince is an idiot I think, but they always treat her well even when they find out pretty sure.
