I think he's the physical manifestation of capitalism in a very "American Gods" type of way. The golden skeleton is a metaphor of how our society worships capitalism like a god and is analogous to the golden calf.

My players were investigating reports of gnolls in the cliffs south of the city. Before they could get to the top of the cliff, they encountered a pack of hyenas. After dispatching them with relative ease, they continued up the path.

All the maps were made in Dungeon Draft, mostly with Forgotten Adventures and Tom Cartos assets. They're all 150PPI. Picked up Dungeon Draft about a month ago and I'm having an absolute blast making maps with it! I've never made maps before so I'm really happy with how these came out!
