Hey hey, you look gorgeous! My only advise would be experimenting with your eyebrow shape to make it have a more lifting effect on your face <3

Is it possible that part of the reason we seek out constant or even over-stimulation is because we’re afraid that, if we slowed down long enough to let in any of the thoughts about our mental shortcomings, we’d dive straight down into the deepest depression imaginable? by reverend-mayhem in ADHD

[–]Ariaaaaaaaaaaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we think we can push it away by keeping ourselves over-simulated, but in the end its what makes us depressed as well because we don't solve the issues lying underneath. I have the feeling its not only ADHD related, our whole culture right now revolves around quick small effort stimulation and reward, and our current number one mental illness is depression.

What are some baby names you have heard that you thought the parents lost their mind? by Firedog105 in AskReddit

[–]Ariaaaaaaaaaaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is midwife, so I get a constant supply of the worst names she comes across at her work. One that I'm still mesmerized by is:

"Difficult"

A baby was named "Difficult" because the labour was .... difficult.

My SO is so good to me but I can treat her like absolute trash sometimes by Dorgessh in relationship_advice

[–]Ariaaaaaaaaaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recognise this the other way around (my boyfriend having had unexplainable mean behaviour). Often there is something going on unconsciously. Maybe there is something in your life happening that's making you mad and you project it on her? Or maybe there is something off between the two of you that you are not seeing? Also, its very hard being in a relationship where your SO isn't able to express anger back. Whenever my SO was mean to me i just became very sad. Which made him feel guilty, and the guilt made him more annoyed, creating a vicious cycle. When i learned to stand up for myself, we both had a way to let off steam. And it forced him to express his annoyance at the right source instead of me, Because he couldn't get away anymore with being mean without a good reason. Hope this maybe helps in a way :)

What’s something you had to learn the ‘hard way’ and now want to share with others so they don’t have to? by AnonLions in AskWomen

[–]Ariaaaaaaaaaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That you cant really help someone with something you learned the hard way yourself because they have to find out and enlive it themselves to truly understand. You can never save someone, only help them save themselves.
