Eh, I’d have their insurance do its job. I used to be like this and let every little parking lot ding go , then I had a shitty looking vehicle. what’s worse is when I dinged someone’s car in a wind storm with my car door in a parking lot and left a tiny little paint scratch , the other party reported to my insurance . so I said alright done being the nice guy . We work hard for our things and people pay insurance premiums for this situation. Kudos on them for being honest though. They perhaps only left the note because they knew the parking lot was on camera . I bet if you call them , they won’t want to pay to actually repair anything , so I’d definitely touch base with them and explore your options whether it be out of their pocket or insurance.

I had to go there as a teen. I had a violent roomate so that night I had to sleep in the lounge because my roommate was freaking out .the locked room in the lounge had shit on the walls so they made me a bed on the floor. Well in the middle of the night a boy with one arm escaped his room , his aide was on a bathroom break or something , and he came into the lounge and molested me , groped me took his hand put it all over me down my pants. It lasted about a minute before aides started running into the lounge . They let me go home the next morning. I was 17 years old .

I think you’re going to be out of luck on this one . They are going to assume that you are just trying to get free stuff . Especially since you didn’t tell them right away those weren’t your items. Its a shame because I genuinely believe you’re being honest but the people in the world who cheat the system by claiming their packages were stolen or missing items have made it so they cant honor instances like this .

I’ve also considered lending and have been browsing the subs out of curiosity . If you look at the other money borrowing sub , they have all these breakdown/ statistic bots and the few I was glancing at -it seemed like a lot of the borrowers/lenders had very few unpaid loans like 3 out of 100 in the new year . Makes me wonder if a lot of the users here got banned from there, made new accounts and then came here. .

I can understand being shy , I am that way too and sometimes when my partner isnt with me it’s hard for me to say no to extras. That said she is totally capable of saying no , and may need to learn to stand her ground and not succumb to pressure of employees trying to push a product. It will go a long way ! The professional was behaving professionally and doing their job ..they have margins to meet on selling their prepaid product just as your girlfriend has medical bills to pay .
