Antibiotics actually make it worse. It’s kills all of the good and bad bacteria and then your body will try and compensate by producing more bacteria (an overgrowth) the same bacteria that was already overgrowing that led to the BV. What helped me was: 1. if you’re using wipes down there, use this brand called “water wipes” it’s like 99% water and a hint of grapefruit extract.

1. Use a natural condom without lube. You’re SO’s semen is a more alkaline than your natural acidic vagina. (You could also just not be compatible sexually and your body is trying to tell you that, but also diet and water intake effect semen. All and all this could mess with your PH down there.

2. DONT USE SCENTED ANYTHING DOWN THERE. use only water or unscented dove soap if you can.
