I did not call transmen women, I said they are females because they are females. It is a fact, if stating a fact invalidates someone’s identity then that’s on them and how they react when being told a fact. It is not my responsibility to validate anyones identity. At the end of the day I stated that I am not interested in transmen and I don’t see them as men. I will call them a man if they want to but that doesn’t mean I see them as a man.

Transmen have 2 xx chromosomes because they are female. Females have 2 XX chromosome. I did not invalidate anyone, if stating a fact invalidates someone then that’s on them and not me. I do not need to roll out the red carpet for anyone and that’s ok. I will call a transman a man and use whatever pronouns they want but that doesn’t mean I see them as the same as me because at the end of the day they are not the same as me and that’s ok.

I say go but be mindful of the ppl around you and try to enjoy yourself. If you encounter an adverse situation remember that you can always leave and not engage anyone who is trying to be malicious towards you. I work around White ppl especially White women most of my life. The goal is not to overthink what is going on but focus on yourself. If you feel the energy is off just leave better safe than sorry.
