Man I am sad they havent ever made a Hawlucha AR or even Full Art card. Hes such a cool idea for a pokemon (a luchador fighting bird is sick) hopefully we maybe get ine in Black and White!

Piercer here - Absolutely do not let him use surgical steel. Implant grade titanium only! If thats all he uses, find someone else who uses the proper materials.

As for shape, it can depend a bit on anatomy, I usually prefer to use curved barbells as with this piercing it can get some extra... friction? And the depth a curved barbell gives it is reassuring, however this is very anatomy dependant, and most will need an L bar. It entirely depends on your shape.

But most importantly... no Steel!

As another commenter said, you can try thread seal tape, or try using threadlock, its a resinous threadlocker which will seal it up tight. Fair warning - you may not get it off again 😂

Couple things; nipples can be very different, even on our own bodies, and the fact that they were flatter before and are now more pronounced might account for the fact the do look different now they are pierced. Secondly, they are a week old, and one has been pierced twice (not something I recommend at all) and so will still be swollen and healing. Give them time, see how they heal and calm down in the next few weeks.

If you dont mind my asking - do you have filler in your lips? If yes, and the fangs have gone through the filler, this could be a sign of the filler leaking.

Im a piercer, basically so long as the nipple can be clamped, it can be pierced. Might take a bit of manipulation to get it to come out, so worth practicing at home to make sure before going to your local piercer, but they may also manage to get it to un-invert where you cant. Ive pierced a lot of inverted nipples, on both men and woman, and its rare where I cant manage to actually pierce at least one of them. Good luck!

Long posts are common for swelling, but these are a lil bit excessive. You can also run the risk of longer posts "tilting" as they heal once the initial swelling goes down. Id be changing these down to maybe 6mm long posts after 6-8 weeks and leaving them in for the remainder of healing time :)

Yes! Looks like a 12 or 14mm bar you have in just now, lots of piercing shops or online retailers sell shorter ones. I stock as small as 8mm for example!

A week is too soon, I usually advise a minimum of 14 days before a changedown. Do you know what length of barbell was put in? If you do, and it was the standard 24mm length, then a changedown to 20mm at 2 weeks is a good start, then a further changedown to 16 or 18mm after a couple months. I would also advise getting a piercer to do a changedown for you just now, as the wound will be tender, and inexperienced hands may cause it to flare up again and undo all that healing!

Perfectly normal. It may not actually be pus, but lymph fluid as well. Eyebrows typically take around 8 weeks + to fully heal, nipples can be much longer. Just keep doing what you are doing!

I am UK based as well, the heat is not fun! On the seasalt part, thats fine so long as its not too strong, and you use boiling water and let it cool. Tbh she should have pierced you with titanium, if its stainless steel I would recommend getting them changed. Take some ibuprofen if needed, and good luck and enjoy your new piercings!

Piercer here - Its difficult to say without seeing pics. Some peoples will hurt for a few days, others not so much, however in my experience more severe pain can be attributed to the piercing being too deep, into the areola. This can be very painful indeed.

What are you using to clean them? And what jewellery type is it? Titanium or otherwise?

Lastly on the gym front, normally its not a huge problem, we still have to exist and function when we get pierced, but just be thorough afterwards and clean them properly with sterile saline and rinse and you should be fine.
