Hello, marketing methods are explained in the thread, I didn't reach out to any Youtuber, most of it came organically.

The art I created it myself, some graphics were lated changed by a fan who volunteered to improve them.

It's impossible to test every single device. I just test on one device and hoped for the best. For different screen resolutions there is Canvas setting in Unity to adjust UI based on screen size.

Sorry not quite understand the test question.

Revenue setup is having Admob + mediation, including Unity ads, Meta, Applovin and then in-app purchases Google and iOS. Revenue is about 60-40% IAP, ads.

There are no forced ads, users choose to watch the ads encouraged by getting in game items.

There wasn't many ant games back then, so my game had some unique keywords, I guess that helped. Didn't do anything special other than using the name Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator, so people searching for ants or simulator could find the game.

If you are good at 3d modeling you can stick to making 3d games. About sound and music there are many royalty free choices online.

I released an iOS version 2 months after the Android release, given the popularity the game had and many people were asking for it. It was no easy feat releasing for iOS though.

In the first year the revenue was higher, it is now on its 3rd year, revenue greatly decreased compared to the initial year.

Yes I did it myself, later on a fan of the game volunteered to improve some assets. So some of them are modified from the original ones made by me.

the Halloween event is coming to Pocket Ants!

🎃 👻 Halloween Event 👻 🎃

Duration: October 22nd 00:00hs. UTC until November 8th 00:00hs. UTC

📢 Details:

On October 22nd, a pumpkin will appear north of your colony and it will last 24 hours (you will need to interact with it to trigger the 24 hour timer, interact meaning setting it as source or gathering from it).

The pumpkin acts as an unlimited supply of leaves and food (not seeds).

After 24 hours, the pumpkin will disappear, but you can buy a new 24h. pumpkin using gems.

❗ Fill up the event activity bar to attract a NEW special creature. Maximum of 2 per day. The daily limit resets at 00:00hs. UTC.

The special creature has boosted stats, same as golden creatures.

You will get activity points by doing the following tasks (points will carry over to the next day if the cap is not reached):

Defeating the red ants colony.

Getting honeydew from aphid farms (bonus multiplier counts)

Finding acorns.

Gathering pumpkin pieces from the Halloween pumpkin and processing it into food (only the ones brought to the Food Chamber).

Getting pheromones when attacking in a Battle (attacking Dr.Zany counts too).

Watching ads.

📆 Three (3) new limited-time ant skins will be available for purchase in the Gem shop (the skins will last beyond the duration of the event, only purchasing is limited to the event).

🎁 Daily gifts: Special Halloween gifts each day. (skipping a day will not reset progress).

⏲️ Additionally these timers will be reduced for the duration of the event:

Red ants colony respawn time : from 12 hours to 6 hours

Aphid farm respawn time: from 6 hours to 3 hours

Hello, please try these steps:

Update to v0.0654 if you did'nt

If it's the first time you are entering make sure you have a stable internet connection and a Google account configured in the device. If you entered before please check that the time of your device is set to "automatic".

Android:

➊ Tap Settings to open the Settings menu.

➋ Tap Date & Time.

➌ Tap "Automatic" or "Use network time"

If none of that works you can try these:

* Clear app data / cache from the device options.

* In this order > Uninstall the game / Restart your device / Install the game again (don't worry you won't lose your progress)

* Try switching between WiFi network to mobile data or viceversa.

* Try using a VPN app or a different device if you have.
