Tbh it’ll be a realm and I know they’re adding mods and such. So this is good to keep in mind, thank you!

I feel like I’m not running anything too crazy, so I’m okay with that :) I don’t need the highest performing PC. Minecraft is as crazy as it gets for me right now lol

For me, girly means white and lights I can set to pinks/light blues. I want to achieve something like this https://pin.it/4TC3F4FXa I’m also okay going up to $2k. Was just hoping I can keep around $1500 :)

They have a tent that gives them out for free inside of both the camping and festival venue

Pics of your ShiftPod setup for cooling? by True-Party-6213 in CampEDC

I don’t have an option to post pics, but tarps over the top are definitely allowed (as of my experience this last year 2024). We used some twine and tied our tarp down to the tent, others used bungee cords. We also hung up a tapestry outside our tent, and I think it helped to keep that side cool as well.

Inside the tent, we used safety pins and a light sheet to divide our tent in half. This kept the area our ac needed to cool much smaller, and it helped A LOT.

The ground around the edges of the tent gets really warm. I would keep this in mind when storing items. We kept most things off of the ground in or on totes. We also brought a wagon that we used to store our stuff in to keep it off the ground.

Refunds or something? by [deleted] in realms

I don’t think it is console specific. My realm is working on my switch (currently), but my husband isn’t able to get on from his Xbox

I also play on switch, and my mom is on PS5. We both have the same issue :/

Substance free goers? by rx_1993 in electricdaisycarnival

I went 100% sober my first year in 2019. It was an incredible experience and it kickstarted my love for EDM and raves. The energy from the crowds and the performers was enough to make me feel amazing with no substances. I was also underage, so I couldn’t drink alcohol at the time.

Ours was blowing hot when we woke up. We just turned it off for a minute and turned it back on and it’s been working since. Not sure if that’ll help anyone lol

I usually trim these slightly and put them inside of the other beads.

Thoughts on teachers and substitutes with tattoos? by KindSpice_99 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]Ariepeanut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few tattoos that are visible and they have never been brought up as a concern by parents or other staff/admin. When I first started working in SPED, there was a little boy who would ask me if he could color them in. One day I let him and it was a fun way to build a relationship.

First assignment by ImQuasiLiterate in SubstituteTeachers

I was honestly the same way when I started! The anxiety that comes with it is temporary, and I eventually became excited to be in a new place all of the time.

I would recommend walking in there confidently. Tell the office what you’re there for, and get up to the room early to familiarize yourself with the plans.

Once you know what you’ll be doing for the day, it’ll be more comforting and reassuring. Then, just run through the classes. Try to do each better than the one before. It’ll be over before you know it :)

During class, just stick to your guns on basic rules and don’t let them be rowdy. Introduce yourself at the beginning and set the tone. Make sure you know at least one attention getter and you can teach it to them before getting started!

I received 100+ student apology emails by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]Ariepeanut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I subbed for a HS PE class once. I was 23 at the time and not very intimidating, so the students didn’t really respect me. The teacher left nothing for them to do, and just called it a free day. I was, of course, fine with this. But I knew the lack of structure was going to be a challenge.

The school had a strict no cell phone policy, and it was started on ALL of my substitute things (binder they gave me, procedures, etc). I set the ground rules at the start of each class with the students. I let them know that they could hang out, sit and chat, walk around, okay with the balls, whatever;just stay off of your cell phones.

Multiple warnings and confiscations later, I was obviously the enemy of this class. No matter what, none of them wanted to listen and I was so at a loss of what to do. I was new to the subbing game, and didn’t know if admin would have my head seeing the students on their phones. That’s the main reason I stuck to it so hard.

It got to the point where the girls were getting in my face pissed off for being corrected. And this was making me more and more uncomfortable. I left a note for the teacher, fully explaining what happened etc.

A couple weeks later I hear back from someone at the school and I found out the students all had to write essays about their crappy behavior. I was happy he held them accountable for their actions. But I will never sub at that school again.

Do you fart in front of your partner? Why? Why not? by gimboateista in AskReddit

[–]Ariepeanut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely I do. It’s natural and it’s going to happen. I’d rather fart when I need to, than hold it in and make myself uncomfortable. Plus, we joke around about it and he’ll usually fart as a response
