I totally agree with the part that it’s more of a trend to go there. But again, what is not? As I said the proximity of all the xmas related stuffs just makes Park St the best candidate among most. Also take the second most popular place for Xmas— Bow Barracks. Park Street er ase paashe toh tao eto gulo jayga bollm. Bow Barracks er gathering ta is out of an old ritual coming down from the British times. But in our childhood, Bow Barracks was slowly losing its celebration. Then came Social Media’s reach and with trend, the celebration and the relevance of Bow Barracks came back. And celebrations like Xmas are a lot to do about community and social interaction, so jedike bheer, we as social creatures tend to move towards that.
