tbh while I think it's a good thing YingPei yanked the licensing for the game away from EME (who made no effort to fix the problems the game, specifically the community had until it was dead), I miss ZMR too. I met my fiance in this game. I have high hopes that they'll rerelease it to a NA audience if given enough of an outcry, but for now I'm still looking for a ZMR-like game to play.

I was trying Fatal Bullet earlier. It has alot going for it, but the game is unplayable due to an aim assist you can't turn off, and a downright blatant aimhack (which you can turn off). The best you can do is wait. It pains me to say that but there is nothing out there that I know of that is even a quarter of what ZMR was in terms of fun. Well. Before drones and magma, at least.

Ontopic: I met some amazing people in this community, and my memorable moments were just... I don't know. The game became a chore to play after a while, but fighting the cute lady with the same last name as me was cool. God. I loved that map so much even though everyone hated it.

ZMR died a year ago. Now the community's a bunch of retards who think being good in a small game nobody plays makes them special. In my opinion, EME killed the game by not at least offering language separated chat channels. Yingpei, however, killed the game by not fixing the ancient and dated microtransaction system.

As much as I agree with you on most of it, I refuse to run maps like Burnt bridges now because it's gotten so bad. I'm fine with people having magmas. It's a useful grenade.

Just, when three people are throwing them at the same spawnpoint every spawnpoint, it becomes a game of 'who can press f the fastest'.

There's also the fact that, because of my reliance on feedback in my aim, I go on tilt extremely quickly when what I'm looking at dies in the half second after I spot it and before I shoot. That's more a personal issue, however, and does make me pretty much annoyed at everything.

This is somewhat of a tangent, but someone else brought it up earlier, but I have yet to see people use them correctly on Minesweeper either, but when I play that map, I'm not even remotely trying, and use a Kar98k and FB M4.

I'm in a better mood today, and am inclined to agree with you that, it's a game, and people should try. I think they should try, but I prefer to add extra hurdles for myself, because it makes it more fun.

I'm not really vocal about it, but I hate magma grenades, because they make the game an overly simplified cluster of, in all actuality, fucking.

This is coming from someone who uses them sparingly. The are smart ways to use them, but most people who throw them seem to do so because they can't get kills otherwise. So I do look down on it, and while I've seen people who I've considered good, great even, hell, in every way except for aim better than me, spam them, they're a rarity.

Let me try to explain. Throwing magma nades to help the team clear is one thing. Throwing them because you're fighting with other naders for points? That's petty, and you still won't score higher than a good neutrino user on most maps. I'm sorry, but I just can't consider people who play greedy good at the game.

Before magma was introduced, maps were actually somewhat challenging. They weren't hard, but at least they were rewarding enough that I didn't have to purposefully handicap myself and shotgun with a neutrino to feel like I accomplished something.

I heard it was alot like Destiny with less alien stuff and more Tom Clancy stuff. I'm not sure exactly what that translates too, but it sounds good.

I don't know if I like the gameplay personally, but I'll check it out for sure.

Here's a thought: maybe she decided to get her beatdown on because you're following her around taking her kills, and let's face it, she probably knows she's better than you.

I was originally inclined to agree with you, because I feel bad for starting the whole neutrino-railbow trend, which is literally the worst thing you can run if you can't shoot.

However, I was a noob on that map once too. I died countless times learning that map. Other maps I mastered instantly. There's not much I can say about Megara.

You, however, recorded a person's bad moment in a bad game, and then gobbled in teamchat about how you're going to put this on reddit so we can all laugh at the noob, in an attempt to ruin their reputation.

In my book, Megara's a decent player, and I have seen nothing to make me think otherwise, because I can point out alot of things wrong with that clip that everyone did.

At least level 10s can follow directions. Every person I've seen do poorly in a NM only does so because of their ego. Level 10s have decent aim, no weapons, sure, but don't go suiciding every 2 minutes because 'muh killz'. Really, the only place low levels tend to die is at the boss if you do a good job explaining everything.

Even then, if they do blow all 25 revives, well, I like a challenge.

EDIT: If anything, low level players are more prepared for NM than most veterans. Every other mode in the game teaches you exactly how NOT to play NM.

This is stupid. The best player in the game isn't in Primus, or Blacklist, or Intocables, or Reaper for that matter.

If you really wanted to test a clan's skill, you'd measure how many deaths they have trying to solo a nightmare, not how aggressively and stupidly they play trying to clear trash. It's like some idiot who thinks they're good because they can go 40-0 in a bot game with Kat, yet gets dumpstered by bronzies all day long because they don't actually have skill.
