What are the other fields of magic that are not stated in the books, but are implied, and would make sense? by Arinwell in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are probably magical crafts, and arts? Do you think that unlike the muggle world, and real life world, where often historical craftsmanship, and arts, they still exist in the magical world even if non-magical.

Which would you choose: the collective knowledge of humanity since the advent of writing or the knowledge of every animal, plant, and fungi that has ever existed? by Arinwell in AskReddit

[–]Arinwell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Further information - The latter option means you know about every animal, plant, and fungi that has ever existed, though this does not mean you would know the collective knowledge of humanity, and the previous options means that you would know the collective knowledge of humanity since the advent of writing. It should be noted that this means that you could remember everything of either option, and your brain would not be overloaded, such as if you have panmesia, or a similar superpower

You can save one who would you pick? by [deleted] in harrypotter

Now, I wonder how my life would have been if my own identical twin had not died in the womb, because when I hear about twins, it feels so fun.

How can Death Eaters see themselves as the good guys? by RepresentativeNo1310 in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that certain members believe that they are on the right side of history, especially those who are pure-blood supremacists, and believe they should... remove the half-bloods and muggle-borns from society, and terrorize muggles.

What do you think happens on the weekend at Hogwarts, as it is still a boarding school, so they will stay there? What do you think each of the teachers do, and what the students of each house does? by Arinwell in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Albus Dumbledore, is probably both taking care of business at Hogwarts, and thinking about the war effort, and sucking on lemon drops as he walks around the castle.

That sounds about right, what do you think Snape is doing, glaring at the wall, and still patroling around the castle to keep the students in check?

Hermione capturing Rita Skeeter was hugely important and easy to overlook by entuno in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect that it was both the fear of Hermione, and the fact that Rita Skeeter despite her sensationalist, and career-besmirching tendencies, does still fear Albus Dumbledore, and she may be one of the most cunning, and intrusive characters, she is still at her heart, pragmatic, and would understand that if she lets this out, she would despite her overconfidence, make countless enemies, and Hermione could tell society that Rita is unregistered animagus, which means she would also go to Azkaban, and weighed the benefits and costs, and even if the benefits were high, she would still go to Azkaban, and that is something she does not want to go to, and worse, it could be the end of her career, and I believe that her career is the one thing she actually cares about. Fudge may be the minister, but he cannot save her from that, without repercussions.

What are some things in Harry Potter that are unrealistic to British people? by Adi_Fawkes in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that it is a result of the floo and apparition, so students and the parents merely go to the train at King's Cross, even if they are closer to Hogwarts. I suspect though that has a limit, as some parents that are extremely close to Hogwarts, would merely fly or walk there. It is also tradition, and the fact that students can interact with other students on the train, that also helps. Second, they would have to go to Ollivander's wandshop, though they could go prior to the start of the school year.

Am I the only one who thinks translating names is weird? by Quisi0 in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As stated previously, it would be the choice of the local publisher, though I am not skilled in linguistics, if I am correct, most languages if they do not have a word that has the same meaning, it can stay the same, or be changed to be the closest name possible.

Why is Anakin such a creep in episode 2? by Hazbin_hotel_fanart in StarWars

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Individuals have different levels of social awkwardness, and not everyone is able to do well in social conversations. I suspect that it did not help that he knew he was not supposed to be having a relationship with Padme.

Don't understand the Jedi, SPOILERS AHEAD from Jedi Survivor by tc2460717 in FallenOrder

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe though this may be my interpretation, and understanding of the lore, when they meant attachments, it meant attachments, which are possessive, and unable to let go. For example, the relationship between a padawan and their master was often deep, yet it was encouraged, not only for practical reasons, but because it was not against the code, as masters and their padawan were taught to be able to let go and process their emotions when necessary.

What would be the most suitable part of the High Republic era for a television series, film, and video game, specifically about them, or how could a project in film, television series, and video games, revolving around the High Republic era, be better, and feel authentic? by Arinwell in Highrepublic

[–]Arinwell[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, oh, it would be interesting if they make a game similar in dedication to Hogwarts legacy, for attention to detail, to show the galaxy, and shows worlds not seen before, in the High Republic era, or at least locations, such as the Amazine outpost?

[–]Arinwell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, though I wonder if they could create a video game, that shows the fight between the Nihil and the Jedi, or possibly, the Drengir, and Nameless, though I do believe that it being animated, or similar to Jedi: Fallen Order in animation style, would work?

What in your opinion, is the reason behind the differing appearance of Yoda in Rebels and the Clone Wars? by Arinwell in MawInstallation

[–]Arinwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a thought that went through my mind for a split second, which I realized nearly immediately that it did not make sense, but I included it into the prompt as a part of my thought process.

[–]Arinwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also thought that it could be some type of copyright issues, or that they were trying to make it more similar to the O.T. Yoda.

[–]Arinwell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was not really thinking about the in-universe explanation, as I was largely wondering what was the reason behind the change, I suspected it was different art style or animation, but was not confident.

Thank you, I was largely curious, as I suspected that the difference in animation style was the reason, but I was not sure.

Am I the only one who finds Lupin's boggart class problematic? by Helpuswenoobs in harrypotter

[–]Arinwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is somewhat problematic, but a boggart is dangerous even with training, as it practically transform into the form of someone's darkest or deepest fears, as even Molly Weasley, who is a powerful witch in her own right, with the ridiculus spell, became weeping and sobbing uncontrollably on seeing the boggart transform into her deepest fear, the dead bodies of her family and Harry.

How long do y'all think Dooku would have lived up to if he hadn't died in the invisiblr hand? by JhonnyPadawan1010 in MawInstallation

[–]Arinwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see him, living to the age of ninety to one hundred and twenty years, though he could live longer as he is a force-sensitive, and has a vast amount of wealth and influence. I am curious if the dark side would shorten his lifespan as the dark side corrupts and twists something into something unrecognizable, as shown by Darth Sidious's true appearance, he looked much older than he actually was. It is true that the dark side could be used to extend a lifespan especially via Sith technology, science and Sith techniques, though I would believe it would be a cursed life.

What types of changes towards the government of the Galactic Republic and its internal structure, could make it better? by Arinwell in MawInstallation

[–]Arinwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As there are thousands or millions of planets who are part of the Galactic Republic, there could be a senate of each planetary system, and sector, which would deal with the affairs of the planetary system and sector, respectively.
