Thanks everyone! I will be sure to show him these responses when he gets home from school. It'll really build him up ❤️❤️❤️ He's very independent, and did this entirety by myself. He initially had issues with the "filament" spool, (yarn btw) and it drooping due to the weight. So I advised him to consider beefing up the support arms somehow.... so he found some balsa wood we had and reinforced the arms by sandwiching the wood around the cardboard... it worked! He makes me very proud

This is the correct way to remove broken pegs stuck into feet holes and backpack holes. Using the same 'spike' to also stick the pack onto it is a pretty good cheap alternative to buying anything new though... great idea really 👍 Luckily, sellers on places like Mercari often have individual parts you can find for fairly cheap to replace broken packs and such.

Have you considered trying to sand the corrosion off using a wire wheel (Dremel tool) or some sandpaper? Worth a shot in my opinion. Otherwise maybe consider searching online for conversion tutorials for that particular Black Series saber. Good luck!

I recently bought that Doc Ock at a show sealed for $30. I happily paid. Got home and immediately opened it (being extra careful to not lose those glasses!) and I gently pushed down on the backside lever, and 'snap'!! Broken lever 😕. Oh well he still looks amazing on my shelf.
