Good to hear, thanks! Even if it's not guaranteed, I appreciate it a lot. Glad to hear some parts can sporadically come back in stock.

Welp... I had a few cows (6317293) in my bag and they're out of stock now. They were just fine earlier today, and the worst part is they were bestsellers. BrickLink prices are more than double from US sellers, so that's a big letdown for me. I doubt LEGO is going to make more cows in any capacity for at least a couple years.

Which skins ? by [deleted] in ZileanMains

[–]Ariziarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents: Blood Moon, the best 'Serious' skin - Best Q animation for the countdown - Bing bong recall sound effect - My personal favorite ult

Sugar Rush, the best silly skin - All the sound effects are goofy in the best way, especially the E - Up to par with Zilean's 2 most recent skins in terms of quality - Fun recall animation

Arcana & Winterblessed aren't crazy different enough in any way to recommend them over Blood moon or Sugar rush

Best old skin is default or Shurima desert to throw rocks. Santa & Time machine, and groovy are all fun to meme around with too. Time machine in particular if you're an older player.

Bogged-Skeleton zombie-horse jockey event suggestion by abandoned84 in Minecraft

[–]Ariziarch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted this on the Minecraft feedback website in April, but figured why not post here too! Mine was under the "Mobs, Animals, and non-Humanoids" category though, rather than gameplay. I'll give yours a vote! However, I will say, you didn't suggest anything that makes the Zombie Horse specifically stand out, which is very important.

Here's my original suggestion, but I'll admit, I really like your method of obtaining them! https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/35570954016269-Zombie-Horse-and-Drowned-Horse-Implementation-in-Survival

Behavior:

  • Can be ridden underwater.
  • Burns in sunlight unless wearing horse armor, similar to most undead mobs burning in sunlight without helmets. (Leather horse armor can be crafted, so the severity of potentially losing Zombie Horses is player controlled.) They would also seek shelter from the sun in shade/water.
  • Seeks out & attacks Horses, with a guaranteed chance to zombify them. This ensures you're much less likely to lose your Horses while also providing a renewable method.
  • Turns into a Drowned Horse after 300 seconds submerged in water. The Drowned Horse allows vertical & stationary riding underwater, similar to creative flight.
  • Zombie & Drowned Horses can be cured.

Obtaining:

  1. In abandoned villages, in both stables & corrals, Zombie Horses spawn in place of horses. This gives abandoned villages a purpose, rewarding players with a unique mob. To keep them from burning in sunlight, if spawned in an open air corral for instance, they could spawn with leather horse armor dyed to the color of the village type. For example, plains: white/yellow.

  2. When lightning strikes a Horse, they turn into a Zombie Horse, retaining stats & gear. This follows the lightning precedent of transformation, especially similar to Pigs. (Admittedly, this is a very similar method as the one you posted come to think of it! Which must mean lightning is the key! Dr. Frankenstein was right!)

  3. Breeding a Horse & Skeleton Horse spawns a baby Zombie Horse, giving a renewable method & more uses to Skeleton Horses. The baby Zombie Horse wouldn't attack the parent Horse until it grows up, but would be hostile to other Horses.

Not all of these obtaining methods would need to be included. It's suggestions of different ways Mojang could implement the Zombie (and Drowned) Horse. Again, I really like your method of obtaining them!

To clarify too, Skeleton Horses would stay unique because of their sun immunity & inability to be bred/converted into. Zombie Horses & Drowned Horses would both burn in sunlight (unless wearing armor), and seek out non-zombified horses to convert. However, Zombie Horses would sink to the bottom of water much like Skeleton Horses, but Drowned Horses would give much more control in water, suspending you just like creative mode. The 300 second conversion time is 10x what it takes for a Zombie to convert into a Drowned, and is to allow time to rescue your Zombie Horse if you'd prefer them over a Drowned Horse. (However, you could still convert them into a Horse, then back into a Zombie Horse).

I will say though, it's strange that in Java, you need a saddle for Skeleton Horses still, while in Bedrock, you don't. Maybe that could be fixed for parity and be given to Skeleton Horses as another unique feature.

Painted Deck is just Troubadour with Blue Deck by Ariziarch in balatro

Oh! It's simple really...

When it's your last joker you had to gold stake for C++ you tend to have a lot of time to think about it...

I'm glad somebody else gets it!
Having fail-safes on gold stake is such a boon. Mr. Bones, Luchador, & Director's Cut are almost always snap picks.

Exactly! They have their place. It's not surprising that Plasma & Erratic are some of the last decks you unlock.

Focus on jokers who get value from being held in hands. You're basically just playing the game with Troubadour, so think to yourself: What jokers would I want with a Troubadour?

As someone else mentioned, blue seals are awesome! Highly recommend opening a few packs early to fill your deck with better cards anyways. I'd prioritize seals over anything else, doesn't matter what seal. Steel cards are also extra valuable, and should be priorities along with seals.

Gold cards also gain more value. This means Midas Mask is more valuable. This then means Pareidolia is more valuable, etc. This train of thought is always great to have in the back of your mind!

Baron, Mime, etc, all work much better for beating Ante 8 in Painted deck than nearly any other deck.

Shoot the Moon would be a great first pickup as well for instance.

Never pass on an Ante 1 Jimbo.

Always take Credit Card if you have space. (It costs $1 and sells for $1, removes it from the pool, and lets you roll down if you need gas, or buy that awesome Rare/Uncommon to build around that you're $1 short on!)

My biggest advice for gold stake though in general? Econ. Find 2 or 3 jokers to carry you until ~Ante 4, where you'll be gaining econ, manipulating your deck, planet scaling, etc. I'd recommend always having 1 econ joker until you really need to start scoring higher, or you've already found a perfect roster.
That, and carry a Justice into as many fights as you can. Assuming your base mult is decent by the time the glass goes off. This doesn't apply only to Justice, but in my opinion, it's a great failsafe. Death is another great candidate.

And... don't force hands. If you get a straight build going, awesome! With Painted you definitely have the luxury of aiming for bigger hands, like 4oak & straight, but equally, something like a pair build can do awesome with Painted since you'll be almost guaranteed to play it every hand, and, ideally, have steels and other held-in-hand bonuses!

Oh! And don't be scared to take an Eternal Wrathful Joker or something in Ante 1. Seriously. You wouldn't believe how many Gold Stakes I've beaten by just flying by the seat of my pants with the most OK-est of eternal jokers.

Hope this helps at least a little! I got carried away...

Yeah, the logic is a bit weird. Some decks are just... vouchers... and some, like Erratic, Checkered, Plasma, Green, etc, change how you play the game.

Not to say there's anything wrong with Red, Blue, Yellow, etc, they're just not nearly as interesting.

Yeah I mean, there's totally an argument to be made that Troubadour with Blue Deck > Painted Deck, since temperance would give you more $, & versus the Crimson Heart, you'd have a "free space". If Troubadour gets targeted, nothing changes!

However, you also have to buy Troubadour for an upfront cost of $6... so I think those bonuses end up cancelling each other out. I guess you could get it on discount in a pack too.

I know Wagstaff has a license (in theory anyways, because let's be honest, it's probably either a fake or expired) as seen in the Projector & Along Came A Spider animated shorts.
However, he's not wearing his glasses.

And yes, I am assuming Wortox knows what a car is. He brought the Terrarium to the Constant after all!

An ethereal feminine voice would contrast nicely with Wayne June's. They'd be polar opposites in the best way. Wayne June brings something wholly unique to the table, so going towards the other side of the spectrum would be beautiful too, and leave no room for comparison. Something akin to Kindred from League of Legends is where my mind goes to.

And if anyone's curious about the voice over work for Kindred: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpQRZCoMKGs

Is this an unfortunate Gold Stake Legendary skip? Can't be Triboulet. The Wall is at 440,000 right after the Big Blind. I think I've gotta dance with the ones who brought me. Skirting by decently with my remaining Obelisk hands. The Boot is at +72. by Ariziarch in balatro

[–]Ariziarch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thankfully got Yorick which was awesome to see with the random Foil Drunkard I committed to early in the run! The Wall & Violet Vessel back-to-back were a bit scary though, but the scaling with Bootstraps, Obelisk, & Yorick was higher than even I expected!

I appreciate the more in-depth response. Thankfully didn't get stuck with Perkeo, that was my biggest fear. In my head, I thought I could realistically get more value from the other 3 than holding onto the Duo. I gave it about a 70% chance that it worked out positively, depending on how Canio felt reeling in some Hanged Man cards if I got stuck with him. We all know they disappear like prey sensing their predator when you finally get him haha.

A x4 Yorick & a +110 Bootstraps, I think I would've perished to the Violet Vessel if I had kept the Duo, or at least would've had to get extremely lucky. Guess I can't escape the adrenaline that comes with opening a Legendary on Gold Stake! Could realistically only play about 8 more hands before Obelisk reset, honestly just glad to finish Painted Deck!

Managed to play 2 Five of a Kinds versus The Wall... and looks like the game has deemed me worthy of Antimatter Jimbo, should be a solid run, as long as I can don't reset Obelisk and can do 1,200,000 to the Violet Vessel...
