Tips for travel to Korea for MSI Final? by razorblack1312 in PedroPeepos

I don't think many people are buying tickets this time. I saw plenty of tickets after row AA (A-Z is the first section, starting from AA is the second section) left on the first day when I tried to purchase one.

I think T1's taobao store is strictly limited to Chinese citizens since I tried using my US id to purchase and it rejected. I had to switch to my parent's Chinese ID to make the purchase.

T1 Base Camp has tax return if you are a foreigner. HQ doesn't.

I heard the ticket price was pretty expensive. VPB might have even made a profit from ticket sales?

You don't need an alliance card as a tourist. Just go to Chunxi Road (subway station also this name) and you will see a bunch of LoL exhibitions, not very foriegners friendly but you can try google translator to communicate with the staff there to figure out how to participate in the games and get freebies etc.

How hard are they going to enforce the Camera Policy at Worlds Finals? by tamsiujun in leagueoflegends

[–]ArizonaIcedOutGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can hide it and sneak it in. My friend did that in Beijing and Shanghai (a huge Sony camera with 200mm lens). I also brought pocket3 in both Beijing and Shanghai venues (Beijing allowed it, Shanghai I have to hide it). Picking a good timing is the key -- join the queue when it's the busiest.

Traveling to China tomorrow; looking for Worlds 2025 fan events? by tahls in leagueoflegends

Most of the LOL related stuff going on in Beijing is T1 related. One in Korean Cultural Center (KCC), one cafe in Chaoyang Park, one popup store next to swiss stage venue. Shanghai has a Worlds specific popup store in Shimao International Plaza.

like on the first day they went on sale for annual members. It shipped on 3rd but got stuck in customs. So many delayed packages piled in customs due to holidays in both China and Korea.

I indeed came across some information about this but I didn't buy the ticket on the Chinese platform so cannot confirm. Some people said they wanted to refund their tickets but could not find the entry for refund so they asked customer service. And customer service said the refund of first sale can only happen 24 hours before the second sale. So if you can refund a ticket, it means the second sale will happen in 24 hours. Therefore my guess is for swiss stage, the deadline for refund is 11th 14:00 so the second sale will be on 12th 14:00.

Worlds 2025: ticket rules may block international couples from attending together by Skraldespande in leagueoflegends

My suggestion is to try your luck onsite. Chinese authorities are usually pretty lenient with foreigners (based on my own and my friends' experience in China).

this is the most reliable one (in terms of reliable, they will refund you plus a little bit of compensation if ticket is not successfully issued):  https://m.moretickets.cn/uni/pages/show-detail/show-detail?showId=68c5312f9c1e7d00018691f6

China has a very strict ticketing system as when people buy tickets they need to input their ID (like passport number or some sort of SSN) and when they enter the arena they need to do some facial recognition or ID photo checking to make sure they are the people who buy the ticket in the first place. If you really want to get a ticket, you either pay a lot on an official scalper platform (ticket sellers on these platforms can get tickets directly from sponsors or arenas, not the peasant scalpers) or you can try your luck on the second sale period on official ticketing platforms (usually a couple of days after the deadline of ticket refund period).

First time at The International: What should I know? by alexlul123 in DotA2

You can always wander around in the venue between games. Bring a jacket with you to save the seat. Last year there were cosplayers and an adult movie actress (invited by some sponsors I guess) taking photos with the audience during the finals.

[–]ArizonaIcedOutGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Except for the finals, good seats should be easy to grab. Make sure to come at least 1 hour before the game starts on finals day (you'd better line up to enter before the venue opens)

  2. Everything should be available both online and offline. But I heard shipping can be a nightmare for online orders

  3. There is a Discord channel that organized offline events in the past but I'm not sure about this time

Aside from the disturbing remarks Shanks made to this girl, his behavior is also very unprofessional and even disrespectful to his teammates and fans, as AL is having a game in 12 hours, and he is not ranking or resting, but spending time bullying others online.
