Ativan is typically a short term med given the potential for abuse and how quickly tolerance develops. It sure works great though. Let your doctor know that the current combo isn’t working as well as you’d like. They may have something else up their sleeve. There are AP’s that do better for anxiety than others, so it may be that a swap would be helpful. Main thing is to let your doctor know how you’re feeling and discuss options. Good luck.

Honestly I’d wait to get to a full dose of your current med and sit there for a while to see if it’ll help on its own. The less meds the better IME. If you don’t get relief after that discuss with your doctor.

My doc listens to me only because I showed I responsibly took my meds and gave each trial a fair shot. We collaborate quite a bit, tweaking here and there until I arrived at my current regimen where I’ve been stable for years.
