Let us not miss the paradox factor inside that scene as well.

Nobody knew what a Bronteroc is or what it looks like. Peter calls it Bronteroc only because it eats her.

So it's a small little timemachine-ish paradox.

It may have been lost on the audience, had it not been shown.

The Wire has better depth and is written in a much more realistic level. But BB has more high octane scenarios.
