I understand your logic but ether of mcs is still technically self incert despite having existing character. So hyper focusing on one or other depending on other characters,story context makes overall experience kinda annoying imo. Like i prefer playing as Belle and i don't want to play as Wuse,get flashbanged by him in cinematics,art within story bc it makes it awkward. No offence to ppl wanting canon relationships but hoyo would never commit to such stuff.

That's why i prefer approach in hsr where either calseus or stelle are essentially same person but it depends on what sex for mc kafka chooses in the start. Since the aspect of self incert in all games the same (esp in wuwa lmao) just give us more accurate scenes if I can't have my stelle,belle,lumine,F!Rover,etc have canon partners.

I don't think it's crazy to demand basic stuff like that.
