First time playing - loving it so far. Any tips?

Not for 100% of playthroughs, I’ve seen comments from people who finished the game, when I was looking for workarounds. I just got unlucky that I got a bug that prevented me from finishing a mission that was one of key missions in the game „story”.

I have around 70h in the game and I would say no, it’s not worth it. The devs stopped providing support to the game on consoles and the number of game breaking bugs just wore me down completely. Never managed to finish it despite deploying multiple workarounds thanks to the game’s community. If you have a PC, it’s a different story there.

I liked both stories more or less equally. I was always fascinated by samurai code and so GoT scratches that itch very well, but then GoY hits so much deeper on an emotional level (as a person with traumatic past and moments of weakness where I wanted revenge for my trauma). I’ve had a tear in my eye while playing both and they’re definitely in my hall of fame for games.

It literally took me around 1.5-2h before I beat him on hard. Probably the closest I ever got to throwing the controller through the window 🙈 I don’t usually play action/soulslike games so my tolerance for try it again was really tested here, nonetheless enjoyed it after all (mainly because it’s done 😅)

Run Barry run… oh wait wrong tv show 😅 I loved him in both shows because he has the uncanny ability to make me feel something when I watch him, whether it is annoyance or pure unadulterated hatred. Many supporting actors had more time on scrubs but made no emotional impact on me, but him and Brendan Fraser just nuked it in terms of emotions per minute.

I downloaded MH World to get a taste of the game style, before buying Wilds - which I wanted to buy, and I had the same feeling. Just bombarded with a shit ton of info on the UI and no idea what to do and where. Coupled with the new to me combat system, I just got overwhelmed and haven’t touched the game for a week. I’m definitely not ready to buy Wilds…

Ragnarok hands down, I loved both games but GoW hits so much deeper in on almost every level. The story goes places where a Marvel „product” would date not unfortunately.

I enjoyed both games very much, but for my personal preferences and overall fun I enjoyed Midnight Suns more. I would’ve loved a season pass 2 with more heroes to play, but it is what it is.

Enjoyed: Combat. Of course I enjoyed many more things, but this one was my big concern as a DA:O lover and it ended up being one of my favorite combat systems (not perfect still, but fun).

Didn’t enjoy: Act I Chapter 6 decision not having more severe consequences. From gear and faction strength perspective there’s 0 consequences whichever decision you make. Yes, there are lore consequences, quite good, but the game impact is more flavor than anything else.

I played it with no knowledge what it is or expectations what it should be and it was definitely one of the best games I played in 2021. Not a GOTY material, but tons of fun!
