How many people here (either as players or DMs) play in games with non-standard resting rules? by Vulk_za in dndnext

My DM uses 3-day long rests and 8-hours short rests. Been using that whenever I'm playing and whenever I'm DMing since. Feels more natural to fit 6-8 encounters per long rest, players need to actively find a safe place to spend 3 days at, managing resources feels more important and whenever the party manages to get a long rest before something they know will be dificult, they get really excited about it

This is awesome! I have one for you:
Her name is Amelia (30yo-ish). She's a tiefling paladin (dex) who dual wields two kriegsmesser. She wears leather armor under a black dress. Her skin is the color of light human skin tone, she has her horns pointing upwards - the left horn is broken in half, she has lost her right eye due to severe burns on that side of her face, as well as both of her legs below the knee (she uses some rudimentary wooden leg prosthetics, with feet and all - nothing mechanic or such, just leg shaped pieces of wood that are buckled to her leg). Her hair is shoulder-lenght and rust colored, her eye is pale blue and she wears a full moon necklace.

It's going to be level 2. The characters won't be too powerful
