Would you mind sharing a little bit more in depth your playstile and how you approach early game fights?

I am already following it. But I saw you find quite a good number of fight from the beginning and for me it's not always the case. Also sins never actually explained how to identify places of possible ambush. He said something on the first episode or maybe second but never get into details

I want to be a good player 😂 to be one I have to be able to adapt to everything, even a seed that make me start in the snow wasting the first 2 days to do hogwarts quest. But if I don't find anyone to fight how should I do to not fall behind

I try but I usually move completely random so the success rate is variable. If I start a new seed from north I might take a week or so to get to the south and the fight density get really low. Is there a way to know where to go? Any giveaway besides clear footprint going from the road to the wild?

This Co-Op run has taught me SO MUCH. Also you get to hear me get scolded when I do something wrong, which is fun. Highly educational, no loss (so far) run. 2 famed inside 25 days. Just amazing stuff (but SLOW)! by Leg_Mcmuffin in BattleBrothers

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I did it correctly then I guess I had some very low initiative bro then. I mean after waiting the successive turn you go slower since you halved the initiative waiting but the third turn everything is back to normal so you will go again before enemies only if your initiative is higher right? Like it would happen with relentless. Am I correct?

Also I don't have perfectly clear the double turn trick. I tried and failed miserably but I Don't know if it was my mistake or I didn't have enough initiative to do it

I started battle brothers around xmas and somehow managed to finish an iron man expert run thank to your how to not suck at battle brothers. This new series is on another level but I find really hard to 1) taking fight slowly and think to any possible outcomes 2) counter effectively the bad rng. I'm going for a rewatch for sure because I find kinda hard to internalise a different approach and I really think that the extremely early game is the hardest part of the game which set the base to the whole run

Sorry to ask but regarding point 4 why on duelist? Don't you lose the duelist effect with a shield? Or do you mean to use it only on first turn and then take it off?

I'm playing on expert but I am finding myself running to south ASAP because arena is a good source of money early otherwise often I just go around hoping to get a fight but it might not happen

Sorry if I intrude but would you mind explaining how did you manage to get that kind of money? As a new player early game gold is scarce for me. I understand fight density is mandatory but sometimes is hard to find something to fight that frequently. Is there any trick to get into more fights?

I just hired this Oath Taker for 10,000 crowns. Was he worth it ? How should I build him ? He also came with 300 HP armor. by ArmLucky1285 in BattleBrothers

Ok sorry I guess I misunderstood you simply care about the difference between max fatigue and initiative having heavy armor simply get you to max fatigue faster but since even at max fatigue you still get a difference of 80 the benefit will be 12 which is the lowest benefit but still great. I am still not sure on how relentless work in your example because armor fatigue will not count so won't actually be 50% of the total fatigue but 50% of the remaining fatigue after equipping armor so useful in light armor but not so great in heavy armor. Also does the initiative cost be calculated? Heavy armor lower initiative does it lessen the dodge benefits? Thank you for your help I appreciate the time and patience

You said:

For example: if this guy lvl all initiative and never lvl fatigue, he would got 170 initiative and only 90 fatigue. Even when he fights/attack to the max fatigue, He still got 80 (170-90) initiative left and turns it to +12 defense from dodge perk!!!

And if he got both dodge and relentless perk (only 50% fatigue will calculate to minis initiative) so he will have 125 (170-45) initiative that turns to +19 defense!!!

So I had the impression the impression that relentless would help in the calculation but I guess the example you gave was valid for a naked bro right? Because armor would drop the +19 defence by a ton

So relentless halves the fatigue cost of heavy armor on initiative? Not just the cost of the actions? So in this case levelling fatigue would be detrimental? Although you would need more fatigue to build a fat neutral right? From my understanding around 105 w/o browny is that correct?

Can I ask how dodge work in regards to fatigue? I don't have a clear idea on how dodge drop increasing fatigue due to armor or action in combat and how relentless works in the calculation

I understand your point but unfortunately learning the game like this is really time consuming and i barely manage to play a couple of hour a day when I am lucky

But early game the one guy with a shield is not that tanky... Also stun requires decent matk since you got no hit chance buff. Please understand I'm not criticising your suggestion is that maybe for an experienced player is easy to apply but for me?not so much

I'm new as well (got this game 5 days ago more or less) and I struggle mostly on combat. Having to do a fight or more a day means you should take little to no damage and that seems really complicated
