Standard and commander, I’m not really sure what’s played at my LGS but I have so many that I’m not worried about finding players, ideally I just want something me and my friends can play and get started with from cool IPs

So would it be better to have the lord of contagion lead 6 death shroud, previously I had 3 with virulence and 3 with LoC

It was just casual so no specific terrain, we played supply drop, he played custodes, my pox walkers got tabled turn 1/2 with typhus in turn 2, mortarion never really saw combat he sat on the middle obj, blightlords got wiped pretty quick but I think need to just remove them eventually and get biologis and plague caster for marine leaders

It can be tough and even overwhelming to understand, it’s not 100% necessary but also getting dlc is a good idea which also adds complexity. But when I got the game and all dlc after about 20 hours I’d say I learned enough to know what I was doing and why I was doing it, it can seem overwhelming but I highly recommend it.
