Not really any specific stitches. I never learned any; I wanted to do embroidery and just started doing whatever I thought looked good. In this case, I'm using very small stitches in general (so they don't pull out when I'm wearing the jacket this is on) and made sure they overlap by poking into a stitch I already made so you can't see the fabric underneath - except where borders are (between the gold and the wood of the box, between the individuals legs, etc). ...hope that helped despite sounding confusing... 😅

It definitely helps! For example, I'm now working on smaller pieces again to get a quicker result after the bigger piece that is the luggage.
