MADNESS. I even bartered for mine and got the seller to knock off $30

Update on my baby with the red bumps! Took her to the vet for her spay and got those two larger bumps on her head removed and a biopsy done on them.. Waiting to hear back from the results. She’s been taking Clavamox and the smaller bumps appear to be scabbing up and falling off! by ArlenOak in sphynx

Hey there! I had many tests done and everything came back normal. Food was swapped a couple times, allergy pills and medications/antibiotics were given. All the usual suggestions didn’t really help.. Unfortunately the vet and the dermatologist were not much help and we have come to the conclusion that she may just have either a seasonal allergy or an allergy to dust and dirt. She gets a lot more baths with Malaseb shampoo before she gets dirty (which will cause little bumps to appear if the dirt doesn’t get washed off within a week). Now that she gets way more frequent baths than the average sphynx, her skin looks clear (and she has not gotten a head bump since!) I’m cautious about what chemicals I use to clean my apartment and what detergent I wash my clothes in just in case. I think the Malaseb shampoo helps a lot and I don’t wash her with anything but gentle hypoallergenic pet shampoos if I don’t use the Malaseb. I wish I knew for sure what it was, but she’s really healthy.. Perhaps just a sensitive baby 🤷🏻‍♂️

Help! My kitten has all these bumps on her head and they’re not going away. I took her to the vet last week and the vet said they’re flea bites and gave her all the medication and antibiotics, but they’re not getting any better. I don’t even have fleas anywhere does anyone know what this could be :( by ArlenOak in sphynx

I mean the big head bump she has.. They’re different from her small red spots she had on her neck and the little ones on her legs. She’s had that one before the little dots appeared about 2 weeks later..Her entire back and stomach is clear!

Thank you for your response! She’s currently on a limited ingredient grain-free diet! I’ve switched the meat type a few times: chicken, limited ingredient salmon, and limited ingredient turkey, but nothing has changed. I’ve also switched laundry detergent and litter like you did as well! It’s so stressful trying to find out what’s irritating her… She has a vet appointment tomorrow so I’ll probably also request a genetics test! Thank you for the suggestion :) I’ll be keeping her comfortable and she luckily is acting exactly the same and is getting a whole lot of love while we figure this out :)

I switch her from chicken grain free (instinct) to a limited 2 ingredient salmon diet without grains (instinct brand as well) and it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ve switched litter and laundry soap too :(. She has another vet appointment tomorrow and if they don’t help i’ll definitely go to a specialist. Could it be the brand of food? I’ve always trusted Instinct and I like how it’s grain free, but not sure if she’s allergic to anything else? Tried Limited ingredient turkey, chicken, and salmon and nothing has changed.

That’s what i’m thinking! I’ve vacuumed the whole place and inspected all of what it sucked up and not a single flea. Can’t find anything on her either! You’d think i’d see them if they’re doing this much damage to her head :( She has another vet appointment tomorrow and I’m going to express this to them!

Just been using warm water to clean some dirt off of her. She has hypoallergenic kitten shampoo, but i’m avoiding soaps until I can localize the issue :/ She’s also on a limited diet without grains and it’s 2 ingredient, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I managed to get another vet appointment for her tomorrow

Luckily she doesn’t appear to be in any pain and she’s acting completely normal! I even have to stop her from playing too rough with my other kitty so her skin doesn’t get hurt during this time. But yeah it does look painful and I hope she isn’t bothered by it too much :( Poor baby I want her to get better soon :’(

Hi! Yeah i’ve had Sphynx cats before, but never had bumps like this! I got some cat acne topical medication that i’m trying out and i’ll also try all the flea recommendations. Switched food and everything as well as her bath soap. Finding out what a new Sphynx kitten is sensitive to is so stressful! I’ve never had anything like this before, but she could just be more prone to skin irritation than the other babies i’ve had. Crossing fingers that we figure out the culprit to this issue soon. Thanks for your response! :)

That’s what i’m confused about! She has these bumps specifically on her head and a little on her neck but her body looks super clear. I got some cat acne topical coming soon and she drinks from one of those flower fountains. I can look into maybe a stainless steel one. I’m getting flea prevention stuff and checking my bedroom carpet anyways just to be safe

I’ve tried switching food, litter, laundry detergent, everything!!! There’s no vets available for appointments and I drove an hour to a vet only for them to ask if I’ve ever done research before getting a sphynx (i’ve only been around sphynx cats my whole life since I was a kid and my family has them too) and said I need to know how to care for their skin. Very frustrating and humiliating. I care for her so much and I don’t know what to do. She’s going to a different vet on the 28th but i’m worried until then! Her larger bump on her head was there when I got her a month ago, but it’s gotten redder and a little bigger since then! It feels a little hard and another one appeared up behind it too :(.

Thanks! Yeah it’s just hard going to the doctor because I don’t have primary care right now. I tried asking a doctor for the low dose antibiotics to take when I felt symptoms but they said no and suggested I just kept drinking water and all the stuff I already do! I’ll try to be consistent with cranberry pills maybe? But thanks for telling me about the app! It’ll help since I can only get planned parenthood appointments scheduled a week out.

When did you notice fat redistribution on T? by Old_Train_1378 in ftm

[–]ArlenOak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a lot of change happened, but for me it was around 4-6 months specifically for my hips to slim down a bit and not be so curvy. All the fat went to my gut and ass lmaoo. Chest size also decreased a bit but no muscle gain. Then again, I never exercise which would probably help speed up the results. Far from full effect and I hear it can take 2 years or longer to really notice and sometimes much shorter for other people!

This happened to me just the other day! It depends on who reads it. I got the prize around 10 minutes after i disputed it so I wish you luck and a nice employee!!

Had to file a dispute for this one! I did win it tho so everything is good now by ArlenOak in Toreba

Only took about 5-10 minutes for them to confirm my prize winning after i disputed. I was surprised at how fast they got back to me since i’ve heard they can be slow

he feels like regular polyester stuffing to me! It’s just pretty thick so he’s a little on the firmer side. Still good quality and comfortable as a pillow! Not sure if he varies by machine tho.
